Unleashed. Great book, couldn't put it down. It's always good when the dog lives. Her curiosity is a little too aggressive and gets a little confusing. Love the dog characters, wish there were more of their personalities.

Not bad. A decent enough plot that I'll continue the series. The characters react realistically to unlikely situations. The dialogue seems fitting for the characters. The f word is used a bit too liberally. Sex is toned down. The dog taking the bullet was predictable. Other than leading to the job, Blue serves no other purpose. Perhaps in other books he becomes more than a jacket cover.

Unleashed. This was an absolutely awesome read. I'm not going to try to sound all reviewish, I'm just going to say I can't wait to read the 2nd book. It was funny, witty, smart, well written, great plot and story and well rounded protagonists. No slow and plodding story lines. I know that this is supposed to be only used by the professional reviewers but I'm gonna say it anyways...."A real page turner. I couldn't put it down". I am totally a new fan!!!

Unleashed. I just happened to stumble across this book. Mostly because I am an avid dog lover, I thought it was sweet, and tender yet suspenseful! I'll be reading the Sydney Rye series!!!!

Unleashed. I started to check out this book. The book uses so many cuss words that I wouldn't waste my time reading it. Ex: 20-7.

Just couldn’t give it 5 stars.. Spoiler alert! While it was an interesting read, Joy was too impulsive, which got her brother killed. It made no sense that she could have saved her brother, but “didn’t want to be a murderer”. I would have blown the mayor away! I get it made her want revenge, but a little too late.

Unleashed can be let go. Too easy to figure out, circumstances too convenient. Nothing wrong with reading a free version but it's not very fulfilling. Wouldn't read or recommend this author/series.

Great read. Fast action, well developed characters. Good action. Great start to a series.

Impressive style. Ms Kimelman has definitely found her voice. I cannot say that I liked joy as a person, but I never doubted her. This is amazing to me as I have read many accomplished authors who had characters I did not believe. I am very impressed with the authenticity the author maintained. Made it to 10%. By 10% there were no interesting or likable characters, the plot episodic, and I could not find myself wasting heartbeats on this. Two stars because of its different opening.

Unleashed. fun adult read. Blue is amazing and yeah parts made me cry because the characters are written to be remembered and appreciated.

Unleashed. Smart dogs and their human walkers, sunken history and mysterious buildings riddled with secret passages! What’s not to like!

Believability came up short. It was entertaining, but there were many parts that fell far short of being believeable. When an animal or person is severely injured or sick they don’t get up a couple of days later and are perfectly fine again. That was just an example of how parts of the story just did not make the story good. Its too bad it looked like it would be fun. I felt at the end that I wasted my time with this one.

New favourite. Unputdownable! So many unexpected twists and such an imperfect heroine...loved it

Unleashed. "Unleashed" is one of those adult mysteries that is extremely interesting to read, but not so baudy that the reader feels it is a waste of time. Quite the opposite, this mystery keeps the reader's attention by quickly getting to know the personalities of these well developed characters. From Joy's (aka Sidney Rye) dog walking business and all the unique characters she encounters to her own faithful dog, Blue, this intriguing mystery will keep the reader up, turning the pages. Her inquisitive detective-like mind takes the reader on a whirlwind tour of Manhattan, from famous parks and addresses to underground tunnels and escape routes, leading to murder, long lost treasure and eventually to revenge and satisfaction. Yes, this mystery is certainly one that is worth reading!!

Oh my gosh. Ok so that was the best book ever I can't wait to read more in the series I rlly hope to read more📕📘📙 infinity stars

Unleashed. Got thru middle of chapter 2 & couldn't stand the low class trashy language. That told me the story had no depth, & would not be a good read, & one that I could never recommend! I have to give it one star in order to send review!

Loved unleashed!. I loved this book! I felt connected to the main character joy and couldn't put it down. The plot was solid and quirky twists hooked me in.

Not sure. Readable.....but confusing, likeable characters, but the story was all over the place not completely believable. Glad I didn't pay to down load it.

Wow!. Brilliant, definitely worth a read. Read from end to end, and was captivated by this character's tenacity and refusal to curl up and die, but to come out the other end a truly hardened survivor who gets the chance to reinvent herself.

Unleashed. Great couldn't put it down till finished

Couldn't get through the first chapter. Writing is really average, word choice makes the pages seem like drivel, the Mary Sue Description of a dog, is painful. I knew what your dog looked like the first time. Your giant Great Dane, wolf dog with different colored eyes and also husky markings. The few pages I did read felt like a pile of cliches. Dreadful.

Unleashed. Great read! Good characters, some hilarious and some very 'real!' Had a few laughs and enjoyed the suspense! Looking forward to reading more books by Emily Kimelman!
