I love this book!!!. I really enjoyed Tessa and Dastien's story - there is something totally authentic and real and relatable about Tessa and you find that her accessibility really draws you into this kind of crazy world that she finds herself living in. The book is an incredible read - it is quick, funny, exciting, tense and full of great wit. I cannot wait for the next one in the series!!

First shifter series begun while awaiting Grey Wolves by Quinn Loftis next book!. AMAZING!! ENGAGING!! Definitely worth the read, not a single second of disappointment. Really throws you into the book without having to wait to long for the plot to expand…. Feeling truly excited about another shifter series… it’s hard to compete with Quinn Loftis but Ms. Aileen Erin this is a phenomenal book and Great series so far!!! I’m almost tempted to re-read it a few more times before proceeding with the next books. It was like those movies you watch and need to watch over and over to get all the hidden gems because it was so great. Thank you for sharing your gift with us readers!

Couldn’t put it down!. I didn’t think I’d be all into this story, but I thought I’d try it. Then I couldn’t put the darn thing down! When I did, all I did was think about the story, where it was going, how we can be a bit daft and not realize some obvious things in real life just like in the story. lol I really enjoyed the modern mix of were’s , brujas, and nasty vamps. Seems like the supernatual in Texas is becoming a favorite of mine. Enjoy!

Exactly what I needed. This book was so good!!! When I just started reading, the first book I read and loved was twilight. After reading that I wanted something paranormal and romantic, and this gave me exactly that!! 3 stars is NOT a bad rating from me!

Becoming Alpha. This book is awesome. Werewolves are my favorite, but beyond that this story has a great plot, stand up characters and best of all I couldn't put it down until I was through. I'm looking forward to the next three.

Very good. I thought this book was great. Reading about a heroine and a steamy hunk, always catches me. I probably would have like some more descriptive words about Dastien. I could imagine him in my mind. But a good book. I have the second book and I am going to see where that gets me.

AMAZING!!. I'm usually a super picky person when it comes to my romance but this books has to be on my high list of beautifully written books. The protagonist is a witty, strong person with a good head on her shoulders. And don't even get me started on the boys, to die for!!😁 If you're a sucker for a humorous protagonist with a blend of paranormal and romance this is the book for you!

Can't put it down. I love alpha girl series. I have all of them on my phone and I'm going to see if I can get shattered pack in November. But I have read the books front to back in a week and I still go back and reread them because they get better every time and Aileen (author) is very creative. I have not found one single book that is similar in her category when it comes to werewolfs, vampires etc. I really recommend this book, it's really good and it latched on to me that I couldn't stop reading even if I tried.

Amazing. I am just a teenager and I love wolfs and romance. This book shows both of that I have read it so many times. The beginning can be a little boring but once you get past the 4 chapter you get hooked and don't want to look away.

Love it.. At first I kind of thought this might be like twilight. But as I got to reading the rest of the book it learned that it wasn't. Plus omg you made Desitin very very very smoking Hott. I want to read more. And I'm going to reread this one.

Turning point. Step into a world where paranormal is the norm. An amazing young adult book that will draw you in with a captivating storyline & characters that you will love or hate. I highly recommend this book.

Loved this book!. It was great to read a werewolf book with such a great leading lady! Her sense of humor and tough spirit were refreshing. And I loved the array of other-worldly creatures scattered throughout. And while I like my share of sexiness, this book was a clean read, suitable for teens. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

Horrible. I hate being so harsh on an aspiring author, but this was not a well written book at all. I really wanted to like it, but the story was just too poorly told. The dialogue was dismal (though I did like the interactions between Tessa and Dastien despite how immature they acted) and the plot was all over the place. This book had potential to be great, but it fell flat for me. Will not be reading the rest of the series

OMG. I have not fell in love with a book like this in so time. I love it. It is great. Aileen did not only write adout to people felling in love but what goes on between them.

Love these!!. I’ve been reading this series over and over again for three years, and it never gets old. Anytime I need a book to read but can’t afford a new one, I read this book again. I can’t get enough of this series. Erin writes a beautiful story with a plot that is different but still has those parts that make you love werewolf books. I would definitely recommend this series and this book to anyone. A small note though, if you can’t handle bad language, this book is probably not for you. Tessa cusses like a sailor. XD

Bruja+werewolf=Great!. I really enjoyed this book. I think the author did a great job developing the reasons Tess has trouble adjusting and trusting. And how a nightmare could be a blessing in disguise! I think it is a good read for anyone that enjoys fantasy.

Gorgeous Book! Wonderful Tale!. Loved this book! Glad to see wolves in any form shown as something other than evil! Character development was grand, the story flowed. Found myself wanting to jump in, help the good guys! Haven’t read much fantasy for years but will revisit more now. Great escape to a wonderful “other world”.

Good read. Good read & I truly appreciate the "real" dialog. Not the stuffy crap that usually written. It's a romance, but also the comedy & sarcasm are great!

Great until.... The last chapter seemed like a cop out. It jumped too quickly from the climax to the end without having a clear transition into a sequel.

Becoming alpha. Amazing read, I found the ending to be a slight let down to be honest but the drama had me wondering what was going to happen next so I had to open the book I couldn't leave it for more than a few hours

more gripping than I would have imagined!!. I was a little hesitant to read becoming alpha as it was fantasy but this book is so good! I could hardly put it down and was so pleased when I realised there's 4 more!!! The author does a fantastic job with how she explains the characters It was so easy to get sucked in and really feel alive with the story! Really recommend!

A decent casual read. This has the makings of the Twilight series in the world of werewolves. While well written, the plot will appeal to young readers and particularly young women. At the end of the book not all questions are answered, which leads nicely into a sequel. If you're looking for a read on a long-haul flight that is not too intense, this is a decent book to pick up.

The Book. THIS BOOK WAS VERY VERY AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t believe I am saying this, but the series is better than Harry Potter, and that’s saying a lot!!!

Great for the average female teen. No grammar, spelling or punctuation mistakes that I could find, funny, great characters and well developed plot. The only thing I can possibly disagree with is the author's choice to make the guy even more romantic by making him French. It adds nothing to the plot and there's no reason for it. Furthermore, the language and grammar is incorrect. To an English speaker it might be fine, but it is apparent to those who do speak French that it has no reason the be there. I'm not fluent in Spanish, but there seem to be some mistakes there as well.

OBSESSED AND IN LOVE. I am obsessed with this series can't wait til the next book is out!! I've read the first 5 and I must say they are very addictive. Love, love, love them!

I’m someone who doesn’t really like to read, but after reading the first couple of pages of this book I was amazed at how intriguing it was, I found it fascinated and I absolutey loved it and finished it within 2 days and for me thats surpising, I would highly reccommed this book, its an incredible piece and I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

Becoming alpha. I loved the whole idea of this book, and in my opinion I do love supernatural but I found that this took a spin and changed the whole idea is it. For example the vampires they are not what anyone else would describe them and I would say that, that give this book some edge. And I would say that Aileen Erin really did do something great with this book it truly is amazing, funny, energising and quite a romantic. I also found that with a lot of books they have some scenes that are quite erotic and not everyone like that kind of thing well at least I don’t, and I appreciate that she has gone with something that isn’t all about the romance, it has action and reading this I was excited and couldn’t stop reading. This book is just amazing and so are the others in the series and I think that she should definitely continue with a lot more of Tessa and Dastein and even more of Meredith and Donovan.

Change my view on werewolves!. This book has blown me away I honestly love it to death I wish I had a boyfriend like dastien he is just amazing the description gives me shivers I have a issue with my brain it doesn't let me picture things which makes life difficult when reading but this book honestly was amazing I didn't need to picture it to understand how much work would have had to go into it I really appreciate the author for writing this and I read all of your books from front to back honestly find it hard to put the book down thank you so much I doubt you will see this but for people who do this book is worth reading also all the others 😜 they have an amazing spin on vampires that makes it a little original to the book

Good story, good characters.. Loved the book. I was too drawn into the story that I couldn't stop reading it. I think anyone who is interested in teen-romance-fantasy should definitely give this book a go. And it also has sequel books to read! I was happy to know that the story continued.

Recommended by Mum and Daughter. We both loved this book- it is a bit chick lit (the boy/ girl thing, yawn) but it’s not too overt; no retching every time she starts to think about him, amen, and they don’t get their gear off or anything. Great plot and the writing is smooth and personally created (no auto write software here, I bet). WAITING for the sequel due out in May 2014 (I’ve already been on stalkerbook and checked lol). Very good first novel, hope she continues with the same consistency.
