Bonkers is great.. It's like sitting down in a Devonshire pub with an old friend, who is warm and open and funny, and the time just flies by.

Teach me, teacher. Jennifer taught me the most about life growing up. We've always lived an ocean apart and have never met, but she's my best teacher. Thanks, Jen. I never would have laughed as much or made it this far without ye. This book is divine frosting on the most delicious cake.

I want to be Bonkers!!. Love Jen even more after hearing the story of her life. I think she and I may have been separated at birth, although she was born several years before me. Endearing, heartfelt, and funny... She is a class act!

Outstanding..(get the audio version). I wasn't even five minutes into the first audio CD of this book, read by Jennifer, and absolutely roaring with laughter. She's just got a 'certain something' about her that works so well. This book is absolutely worth it!

Help book won't open. I bought this book but it won't open says it's formatted wrong? My iPad is up to date as is my iBooks ... What do I do ? I was really looking forward to reading this now I'm just disappointed

One of the best.. I don’t read much, but if I do, it’s autobiographies almost always. I have to say of the many many many I’ve read this is by far one of the best. Nice and personal, elegent as the Lady herself and hilarious pretty much all the way through. Would bang. 10/10.

Very enjoyable. I really enjoyed this light hearted, fun read 😜

Laughed out loud until I got confused looks by strangers!. This book draws you in as if you are right there in the same memory that is being told. I have read Dear Fatty by Dawn French and Absolutely: A Memoir by Joanna Lumley. Some of their memories are intertwined and are all told in very funny ways. I love this kind of comedy. What a great read!

Absolutely loved this!. The thing is, born in the late 60’s I grew up ( late teenage years) with French and Saunders and the young ones. I am also a social worker who is fascinated with other peoples lives, their strengths, their vulnerabilities and how they enjoy life and conquer adversity ( or don’t but cope). To read this made me laugh, cry, laugh lots more and feel a little connected to the reality of some of my idols lives! It was a joy to read! I could attempt to say something funny but I’m a social worker not an “entertainer “ I’ll leave that to the professionals!

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS. A very enjoyable read - relaxing, not the overly focused on factual recounting, but more on the emotional memories of a wonderful life. Jennifer draws you in to the point that the narration of this book could be imagined as a conversation over a cup of coffee (or, better yet, a bottle of wine!). Wonderful read for lovers of The Young Ones, French and Saunders, Absolutely Fabulous and other great British comedies, as it gives you a great context. I read "Bonkers" in combination with Dawn French's "Dear Fatty" and loved how the two books interweaved and gave varying accounts of similar events. Absolutely FABULOUS.

To all French and Saunders fans, Ab Fab fans do yourself a favour........read this book and it will embrace you and simply make you feel wonderful! If your not familia with Jennifer Saunders and those that share in her world, you have a whole world of loveliness, laughs, silliness all mixed up like a big yummy cake! Xxxxxxxx

Good but needed an edit. Good read but, for a writer, the structure of the book is all over the place and I found myself really having to concentrate to work out what was going on (although the second half got better). At times you did get the sense that someone told her to get the word count up (literally copy/pasting verbatim faxes she sent and received for pages on end). What's unique about this book is that you really get a sense of Jennifer the person - her beliefs, what's she's passionate about and her flaws. That's the interesting part. Would have liked to have read more about the actual realities of filming Ab Fab, but that's a small complaint. Certainly one of the comedy greats.

Interesting. What an interesting and honest read. Probably the 3rd novel I've read in my life! It's a patience thing! Thank you for sharing. I found once getting close to the end that there was a bit of a speed up, like maybe a bit of procrastination kicked in along the way and then, let's finish writing this book already ☺️ happened!!! Bonkers. I enjoyed the life stories and sense of humour that revealed many personal values that I respect and hold dear myself. I also have a whippet puppy and I understand how they help with the healing process and your sanity! I thank you for sharing.
