Too Much Description. So far I'm loving the Lunar Chronicle series, but my high expectations are not met. This may seem bias, but as a reader, I need to give my personal opinions. CONS: There is too much description and the content of this book is not to the point. I hate reading long pages of description which does not motivate me to keep on reading. Everything in here is expected and there is not many plot twists or action. Personally, "Scarlet" was sensational because of that I was expecting more thrill from this novel than "Cinder" and "Scarlet." (SPOILER): Another drawback of this novel is that Kai is dull-witted. He is determined to find the long-lost Princess Selene so that she can claim the heir. Yet, he thinks Scarlet Benoit is the rightful heir. Kai knew that Michelle Benoit (Scarlet's grandmother) is her grandmother, now this is the part where Marissa Meyer should think about. Michelle Benoit is Queen Levana's mom? First of all, Levana's last name is Blackburn. Second, Kai was told that Princess Selene is sixteen-years-old and Scarlet is eighteen. Lastly, he thinks that Scarlet is Lunar. Michelle is not Lunar, she has a hospital record that says she is born on Earth, meaning she's an Earthen. So how could Scarlet be Lunar? PROS: Aside from the cons, I quite enjoyed this novel. But the cons outweighed the pros. The description is phenomenal and makes you feel like you are in that situation/setting. Once again, the content needs to be concise. The bonds between every character is very powerful. If you look deeper into each and every character, all you find in their trait is loyalty, trust, love, sacrifice, and faith. This novel has a great message aside all of the action. I believe this message throughout the whole Lunar Chronicle series is that if you trust the right people, anything can be accomplished. I would definitely recommend this book to a friend.

Astounding. Don't usually read young adult novels. Back cover sounded good and sucked me in. I recommend starting with Cinder, then you will be hooked. All three books are equally captivating. I have a hard time putting them down once I start reading. There are two kinds of books in my personal world. Ones that make you sleepy and ones that keep you up. Before I know it, it's after 1am and I'm not sleepy at all. That's a GREAT book and this series is in the category. Hope they make a movie!

Amazing!. After reading all three books in this series, Cress is my favorite. The author's ability to draw the reader into the story is wonderfully addicting. The characters are strong; I laughed, held my breath, dreaded and anticipated the next page.... I highly recommend this series and am dying over the fact that book #4 isn't due for a year. A YEAR!!! Ugh!

YASSS. LOVE THRONE and cress i love how throne became blind he was super funny and stupid but also very protective. Overall this book was 🤩 ♥️ amazing i would say this is my favorite one “SPOLIERS” SORRY about this spoiler but in winter i love how Thorne confessed his love for cress but he could have just use words 😹 lol

THE BEST SERIES OF BOOKS!. I haven't finished this book, but I have finished Cinder and Scarlet. I'm looking forward to reading the other two books Fairest, and Winter! Marissa Meyer, you are so amazing for making these books. The drama, action, and especially the romance makes these books great. What makes these books even better is that there is always something surprising that you would never expect ! Does anyone else agree that MOVIES SHOULD BE MADE? You would totally be making LOTS of money. So I give you 5 stars, I would give millions but it only goes up to 5 stars. 😭 I definitely recommend you to read all the lunar chronicle books . ❤️

Great book!. This book was absolutely incredible! Meyer did an excellent job at keeping the reader intrigued throughout the whole book. The novel leaves me dying to read Winter!

THORNE AND CRESS 4 EVA it’s mah FAVORITE SHIPPP anyway this book is STELLAR and I LOVE IT even though winter is my favorite book for reasons but THIS ONE IS MY SECOND FAVORITE BY FARRRR Anyway, if you read this review, put a ⭐️ on YOUR review if you think you would want to be Lunar and a 🦿 if you would want to be cyborg and a🧍if you fine with bein human! Beyond Amazing. Cress is definitely my favorite of the three so far. I adore Cress and Thorne's relationship, and their personalities together made the story a hell lot more entertaining. Things start to connect together like a missing puzzle piece, discoveries are made, and the crew has a few more members along for the ride. It's been a while since I found a book that I couldn't put down, and Cress has finally broken the streak. "Winter" could not come any faster, but I'm beyond excited to read the big finale <3 Just as long as the author doesn't pull a John Green on our favorite characters...

It’s a must read!!. I loved this book so much! The attention to detail was amazing! I loved how she bases these stories off the fairytales but still makes them completely creative and interesting in their own way! Try is storyline is so captivating and I can’t stop reading! Trust me! After reading this series for the 3rd time they just get better and better! The action mixed with the romance and emotion is exceptional! I loved how cress’s and Thorne’s relationship progressed slowly! Their personalities complement each other’s so perfectly! SPOILER AHEAD!!: It was so sad to hear how heart broken wolf was after Scarlet was taken but at least they get her back in “winter”! It was also so sad when Dr. Erland died before he could get to know Cress! 🥲 Altogether, this was such a rollercoaster of emotions but, it is so worth the buy! It’s definitely not for everyone but you either LOVE it or absolutely hate it! Anyways, don’t mind my ranting, I would totally recommend!

Two Thumbs Up. Loved this book from beginning to end! All the Lunar Chronicles books have been so consuming and I enjoy how well all the characters fit together. It is extremely captivating how Meyer puts such an action packed and modern twist on classic fairy tales. Can not wait to read what Winter has in store!

Oh my, the tension. The tension between Cress and Thorne is unbearable! I was really looking forward to this "sweet cinnamon bun" my big sister called her... but wowsers. I think my hopes were crushed a bit by how crazy "steamy" her imagination was. Still good but I was really excited when Winter came.

BEST. HECKIN’. BOOK. EVER.. I love Rapunzel so maybe imma bit biased but seriously EVERY Cress and Thorne scene (besides that ‘lil miscommunication you-know-what) was absolute GOALS. I can relate to Cress on such a deep level and seeing things from her perspective really changes how I see the world. She is just in awe about everything and it is just So Beautiful! *holds in happy-sobs* Plus, Thorne’s (even if it was slight) character development was beyond amazing. I loved it. All of it. (Even scenes featuring everyone else, but honestly I lived for Cress and Thorne in this book.)

OH. MY. GOD.. I finished this in three days. It was a fantastic book. It won't make sense unless you read Cinder and Scarlet first.... but OH MY GOD I couldn't put it down!!! The cliffhanger in the end is sooo frustrating though. It kills me to think that I have to wait an ENTIRE YEAR before Winter comes out.... ugh. I want to know what happens next!!! This book series is amazing!! Read it, but take your time..... or else you will be as frustrated as I am when you finish Cress. I had a book hangover after finishing Cress... which is really rare for me. (book hangover = state of shock after reading a book that lasts anywhere between one day and one week, in which you are so wrapped up in the book that you cannot read another book in the book hangover time period whatsoever.) The only other book I had a book hangover on EVER is The Fault in Our Stars by John Green.So this is big. One of the BEST series EVER!

AWESOMER THAN LOGAN LERMAN and logan is really hot. I read in 11 hr straight, without using the bathroom, well kind of. I was just in love with all the characters an the book itself! It really speaks to me. And it is just WOW ! Marrisa Meyer is a great rising author. And the way she makes you feel like your apart of the book. Cus I literally thought that I was in the book doing all the stuff that everybody else was doin. Hope you read it

Best book ever!. Third book in and it’s only getting better! Meyer really knows what she’s doing in this book, with every romantic interaction, loss or gain my heart continues to flutter. I absolutely love every single book in the series to the very depths of my sole and this is the best book of the series, and that says something! These books are my life so I am giving a bit fat thumbs up to this book and highly suggest you give it a go!

SOOO GOOD. Thorn and Cress get together sort of, Cinder and Prince Kie kiss!!! And Scarlet gets captured by a Thaumaturge. (not sure i spelled that correctly.)

Favorite book so far. This has been my favorite book in the series so far. I'm Never sure how the characters will all tie into one story but it's been enjoyable and I loved how intense this book was. Lots of crazy action and of course the love interest stuff is fun too. I look forward to the next book.

It was AMAZING!!!. This book was AMAZING! Cress and Thorne didn't turn out the way I hoped, but it was like Tangled with them. Wolf is still, OBVIOUSLY my favorite character, and I wish Scarlet could've been in the book more, Cinder and Kai at the end made MY nerves frizzle and tingle. I'm shaking as I'm writing this. Winter does seem a little crazy, but I understand what it's like to be called crazy. My twin sister said I was so STUPID to spend MY time read ing these books. Well, news flash girl, you're the one who's crazy for not reading these books!

CAN't WAIT!. Winter is coming... And no, not talking about Game of Thrones. This sequel was seriously out of this world. I can't wait for Winter to come out!

This is the best book of the series.. Cress is a beautiful and elegantly told reselling of the original story Rupunzel. Amazing. It's the kind of book that gets you so into the character that you don't hear your friend yelling, "The buildings on fire!" Not kidding. Marisa Meyer enthralls even the sci-fi haters (such as me.) Yeah. This is the best book I've ever read. It's also kind of horrible because it makes you have all these fictional romances (dont you hate when that happens? Made me cry.😖) You will think about all the crazy things this book gets you into. Side effects: Having a mental breakdown whenever you see a tomato. Freak out when you have a bruise. Call the Moon, Luna. Make sure you always have shoes on. Stay on the toilet way too long thinking about Cresswell kiss. This book may top Harry Potter. *whispery voice. Checks to see if anybody saw that. Shiver.* Thanks if you read this long review! I totally recommend this book. You will have book hangover until Winter comes. Beware....

Phenomenal. The Lunar Chronicles are amazing. I've never read a series so fast in my life, and I'm glad I got to experience Cinder's war against Queen Levana and whirlwind romance with prince Kai. While flying through space with Iko, Wolf, Scarlet, Cress and Thorne. I cant wait until Winter comes out and hope that everyone who read this series loved it as much as I have.

Cress. This book was everything I expected and more. I had been looking for another great book series for a really long time and I finally found it. I suggest this book to anyone who loves to read and I can't wait for Winter.

Excited!. Bought the other two books awhile back and loved this series. I also finished the Chapters 1-5 thing that came up when I searched to see if it was available, and finished it in less than an hour. So amazing! Can't wait!

Totally worth it. I am a very hard reader to please. And I am very picky with my books. I absolutely loved this book. I found it even better than scarlet if I was to be honest. It still isn't as great as cinder (the first book in this series) but that's typically because sequels aren't as good as the first. Again this is totally with the buy. As I could not put it down!
