The Polaris Protocol by Brad Taylor Book Summary

Taskforce operators Pike Logan and Jennifer Cahill are used to putting their lives at risk, but in this thrilling New York Times bestseller, one of their own family gets caught up in untold danger...

As an investigative reporter working on the Mexican drug cartels, Jack Cahill has unknowingly gotten caught between two rival groups. His desperate call to his sister is his last before he’s kidnapped.

In their efforts to rescue Jack, Pike and Jennifer uncover a plot much more insidious than illegal drug trafficking—the cartel that put a target on Jack’s back has discovered a GPS hack with the power to effectively debilitate the United States.

With the GPS hack about to be exploited and Jack’s life at stake, Jennifer and Pike must find a way to eliminate the impending threat. The price of failure, for both the Taskforce and the country, is higher than ever.

Good read. Good read

Polaris Protocol. Not one of his best, but still very engrossing. He draws you in, characters come alive, and if this Devil doesn't make you dream at night.....well, it will. May I have some more, please?

Well written, but.... Several annoying plot fallacies... she could have just thrown him the keys and covered him... they could easily have split up to check both places... really, your going to call it off, allowing worldwide catastrophes, in order to not cause a scene? Other than these very minor annoyances, another well written book by this author.

Unanswered questions. Why didn’t an analyst who went on “vacation” just after an anomaly raise a red flag? Why would the analyst think that criminals would only use the device for their purposes - and not realize its use could be used against the US - especially after its His test crashed a plane and killed hundreds. Why would the government use a GPS tracking device on a “helper” when it knew a GPS-altering threat was in play.

Polaris protocol. Great read. Had a hard time putting it down!

Kind of boring. I thought the book was hard to follow with jumps back and forth. It was also not well written and a little boring. Wish I had not bought it. It hardly deserves the high rating shown.

Polaris. Best book in the series so far
