Best of Nora Robert’s work.. This was a joy to read from the first page to the last. One of the rare finds that is so good you can’t put it down until the end. It is hard to find a book that has everything. The excitement and the way you feel like you have found your new best friends !

So boring!!. Where are the quirky, fun characters?? Where is the plot? Where's the romance? Where is any movement....At all......Halfway through this book and it's SO BORING!!!! Ugh! Did Ms Roberts get a ghost-writer? Because this is so bad and so not like her books!

The Collector. It was such a great read. A strong main story line with wonderful interesting character stories intertwining. Exciting, touching, intense and dramatic.

Well worth adding to your collection!. The Collector is another great book by Nora Roberts! Romance, suspense, intrigue, adventure, mystery, excitement, and constant surprises make this a great book! I think she has written better books, but I totally enjoyed reading this, and I think her fans will love it!

Ridiculous. Couldn’t even bring myself to finish it. The characters are BORING or worse just plain unlikeable, especially Lila. The story itself is completely far fetched and there is a huge plot hole. I won’t spoil it but will just say the two main characters could have gotten themselves out of harm’s way in the first half of the book by just letting the police handle it. I am shocked this book has the ratings it does.

The Collector. This was a great book, very suspenseful, and lots of romance as well. The ending took me by surprise, and I just enjoyed reading the book from the beginning to the end. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys suspenseful situations and how the characters overcome them.

The collector. Worst book I've read in a long time. Story's plot doesn't seem real. Seems like the author tried too hard.

Loved it!!!. This was exactly what I expected from nora Roberts! She is one of my favorite authors and I have never known her to not deliver an amazing story!!

Never dissapoints!!. I have been a big fan for many years, I have read every book, some many times. I love the way she builds, layers the characters like you know them personally. She draws you in. You think you know what's going to happen and then you're wrong. I leave her newest novel for last to read because I know it's going to be the best! Unfortunately , I can't put it done and usually get through it in a day or so. Then I'm left wanting more, so immersed in the story and the characters. Sigh... Can't wait for the next!!! Love you Ms. Roberts ! Never stop writing, please! ; )

Favorite Nora so far. I've read several of Nora Roberts' trilogies, and have always found them entertaining and escapist, if a bit formulaic at times (but it works, so not a real criticism!). I loved this book...loved the main characters, the dialogue, the action and the storyline. It was a nice departure from her trilogies, and has me wanting to read a few of her JD Robb books.

Great Story. An enjoyable read! Great writing, funny at times. Intriguing story.

Meh. The concept for the book is okay, and is evening exciting at parts. The main issue is that the dialogue is awful, the characters are relatable and are so one dimensional. It's almost painful to read parts where they're speaking to each other because all I could think was, no one talks like that! I'm generally a Nora Roberts fan, so I'm not sure why this book seems less realistic and true to form than usual. I would also add that parts of the plot, especially in the beginning, take HUGE leaps that it expects you to just go along with. For example, the two main characters meet unexpectedly, by just happening to be in the same place at the same time, then happen to be followed by the killer for a reason that is loose at best, then become soul mates in like three days, and begin an adventure?? Sorry but it just didn't work for me. I keep having to make myself finish reading.

Thrilling!. As always Nora's characters pull you in and I just couldn't stop reading. Great descriptions Realistic scenarios and a very quirky charming heroine

The Collector. I read this just to finish it. It's about as deep as a Harlequin Romance novel. Not my favorite.

Love this book. I think Nora Roberts is an exceptional writer, with a great talent for painting a picture with words. I love all of her books and, this one I never wanted to end. The characters, story lines and just a bit of history about the Romanovs, were, I think, fascinating.

The Collector. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Lila, our heroine, was so cute and I loved the way she viewed things. There was plenty of intrigue, suspense, murder, and of course, romance. I can definitely see this as a fun movie.

Great read. This was a fun, suspenseful book to read. Although it was completely predictable, it was fun to see how everything would be tied together.

Classic Nora. Unique story, beguiling characters. Turn the first page and she's got you. This author does her research -- you always learn something new when you are reading her work. Right now I want to know more about The Romanovs and have a holy yen to become a house sitter.

Good. This is a good book. Solid story. I'm disappointed that the characters didn't grab me like I was anticipating. At times the dialog was short and choppy. I've noticed that in the last few Roberts books, it's irritating. I wanted to escape into this story and get carried away by it, but it didn't happen. The story is good and solid, but the element that makes a reader fall in love with the story was missing.

Huge disappointment. The most compelling character was a teacup poodle. Felt forced, which is how I got through it. I forced myself. Forgettable characters, forgettable storyline. Not your usual Nora Roberts' story.

A fascinating tale of danger!. I loved it!!! Everything about this book reeks of danger, love, and fantasy. It was wonderful!!

The Collector. The author writes the same story in all her books it seems. Different names (sometimes even the names are the same) but always about some independent woman quickly falls for handsome man who saves the day. The author repeats the same lines and same scenes in her books. Totally surprised that she's had success she is very mediocre

Great book!. I really enjoyed this book. It won't won a Pulitzer Prize (thus the 4 stars)' but I have to hand it to her - she had descriptive phrases about Italy that literally gave me goose bumps, and in the 1,000+ books I've read! that's never happened. It was an unexpected plus, but I did enjoy the characters and the plot also. Read it, you'll be entertained and maybe you'll get a goosebumps ortwo while you're at it.

Personally I just couldn't get into this book!. I love Nora Roberts books. This book took me a while to read because I just couldn't make myself get into it like I always do her books. It was slow and about 500 pages longer than necessary. Giving it three stars because it's Nora Roberts anybody else and it would have been two!

WONDERFUL!. This was great. If you don't always read Nora Roberts books because they all feel the same then you SHOULD read this one. It was closer to the in death books in quality. I laughed should hard my sides hurt! I want more! I hope that Nora turns this into a series because these are wonderful characters! Please write more about this family and these specific characters !!!

More. Sometimes I wish writers would add more at the end, so they are going to get married or have kids. Why can’t writers add 10 o 20 pages more to the stories……..

Brilliant. I don't usually write reviews but I had to make an exception this time. Once I started this book I couldn't stop reading it and when I was able to take a break from reading I ended up thinking about lila and wishing to go back to the book and find out what happened next.

Wow - Nora’s best yet!. Gripping from 1st to last page! I want more of Lila and Ash!
