Worth a read. Loren thought yonder was a perfectly good word. 😂😂😂 I absolutely LOVED this book!! A bit lengthy but worth every word.

Eternal Mates *sighs*. This is a great series so definitely get started... My favorites are book 3, Tempted by a Rogue Prince, and book 7, Taken by a Dragon, but I'm looking forward to Heaton's latest installment, Possessed by a Dark Warrior... Once you begin the series, you'll understand why, so prepare yourself for a binger! You will be taken by all of Heaton's eternal mates! There are deliciously sexy elements with great background stories that may reveal some of others but the unfolding of each is enigmatic and captivating, but don't miss a single installment, since there are surprises to each and not just the main ciuple's journey is revealed in each. Love it. The first to the series and boy is the description of the elf is Hot!!! Loved it!!! I also got audio for this one! Great performance! Definitely recommend it!

It was just ok.. I tried getting throught his book years ago and I couldnt fiish it. I’m not sure what prompted me to try again but I finally finished it and by “finished it” I mean I skipped a lot of useless diaglogue and got the gist of the story. Not the best book, there are way better paranormal books out thre. I plan on reading the next one just to give the author a 2nd chance because this book wasn’t a complete fail. Some things were enjoyable, but it just felt like it dragged on.

Blah 👎👎👎👎👎. The book was way too long! The author wasn’t able to hold my attention that long, so I gave up trying to finish the book. There was so much fluff and dead weight in the book!

Kissed by a dark prince. If you want a hot sexy book, this is for you, good storyline but I am not a fan of cliffhanger ending. So keep that in mind .

I am beyond in love with this first book in the new Eternal Mates Series. I was drawn in from the beginning of the story, especially since I have a weakness for gorgeous, Elven Princes. Olivia is a doctor working for Archangel, an organization of demon hunters. She is a strong ,beautiful woman who has some serious "demons" in her past that she must overcome. When Loren, an Elven Prince ends up in her lab her whole existence is turned upside down. She finds herself half-bonded to this amazing immortal being, and thrown into a fantastic world of hot elves, demons, shifters, vampires etc. We wait, a bit less patiently than the Prince, for her to hopefully accept him and complete their bond. I was totally mesmerized by the world Felicity Heaton has created , a rich combination of fantasy, paranormal, magic, heroes and villains. In upcoming books in this series I hope we get to learn and explore more of realm where the elves and demons reside. Loren is every females dream. Beyond handsome, confident, honorable, loyal, sexy hot and that does not include his magical powers. He can definitely leave you speechless. He is royalty, a proud warrior. With those he loves he is protective, possessive and romantic.Underneath we learn he is sensitive and vulnerable. Loren has challenges, and choices to make between having to protect and serve his kingdom and trying to save his brother Vail. Now after centuries he has found his eternal mate. It is all a delicate a delicate balance. Loren and Olivia can not deny the powerful bond that grows stronger with each encounter. Their passion builds steadily from amazing first kisses to mind blowing sexy hot The story is well balanced between suspense, action, romance and adventure.it truly was a book you did not want to punt down. The secondary characters all have amazing depth and personality as well. Vail, Bleu, Sable and Thorne could all easily carry their own story within the series. More to look forward to. Again one of my favorite books of 2013. Towards the end I started to read slower as I didn't want it to end. Then I happily realized I'll just read it again. :D

Another FANTASTIC Felicity book!. Another FANTASTIC Felicity book! Felicity's writing is simply my cup of tea; there's emotion, steamy love, mystery and action all wrapped up into all of her gripping stories. And this one was no exception. I loved this book for many reasons, but namely that it laid the groundwork for the series without ending in a cliffhanger. I was introduced to several characters that I DEFINITELY want to read more about, and it seems there will be an on-going mystery that Loren will need to solve as the series goes on. (BRILLIANT!) Olivia and Loren's story is just a great read about unlikely soulmates and the self-doubt that many of us endure on a regular basis that threatens to botch everything. Olivia was relatable and funny, but I must say that minor-characters Sable and Bleu were my favorite of the story. Sable takes the lead in the next book, which I am about to go 1-click once I'm done with this review :) All in all, I loved the mystery and magic of this book, not to mention its SMOKING HOTNESS! I'm in it for the long haul, and I MUST know what happens at the end of the series!

Tripe. Good thing this was free, because I wouldn’t buy it for a dollar. I’m sorry, but how does this kind of puerile trash get published when there are fan fiction authors out there writing masterpieces for free? The world just isn’t right. Neither is this “novel.” I guess I’ll go into some detail, though it galls me to waste even a minute of my time: the characters are one-dimensional, childish, ignoble, and idiotic. The world-building leaves MUCH to be desired, just plain boring. There’s no point to the sex, and the author needs to learn about show-not-tell before attempting to write. There are also grammatical errors (insert eye roll). Sorry, author, but I can’t like this. Back to the drawing board for you.

Adventurous. I recommend this book it hooks you from the beginning to end. It's one of those stories where you learn to fall in love with each character. Felicity has the gift. She knows how to bring her vision to you it's like you're in the story, watching a lord of the ring movie ;) I loved it. Working on book 2.

Good read!. This book started out great and kept it going! Had some slow sections and a little redundancy, but definitely a good read. Kept me interested in all the other characters as well, so getting book 2 to read Sable’s story.

Love this series. I have read & re-read this series more than any of my other books. I love the foundation of this series as well as characters...you can occasionally get irritated with some of the characters but that is because you want to shake them...if I get involved enough in the stories want to slap one of the characters at moments of the story I consider that a good read ... but I like the concept of this series so it keeps me coming back...good balance of romance and world building...great paranormal romance writer I own many of her book highly recommend for good romance read

Excellent!. I was offered an ARC copy by the author in exchange for an honest review. This is the first book in Ms Heaton's new Eternal Mates series. It is set in the same story world as her VET series but explores the larger world as the VET books were pretty much confined to the theatre. I really enjoyed this book. Loren, an elf prince, thousands of years old is a great hero who discovers that our heroine Olivia is his destined mate but is unsure whether it is fair on her to drag her into the chaos that is his life. She is a human with troubles in her past that make her wary of Loren. She has great strength of character and will stand up for what she believes in. There is plenty of action and tension and the introduction of lots of great new characters that I'm sure will feature more as the series continues plus a cameo from some of the VET characters. I would highly recommend this book. It was a great start to a new series and I can't wait for the next book ;0)

Fantastic read!. This book is full of romance, adventure and suspense. I could not put it down, once I had finished I was so pleased to find there is another book, I can't wait to find out what happens! Brilliantly descriptive and truly one of my favourites! <3

Excellent 1st book in a new series!!. 'Kissed by a Dark Prince' is the first book in a new series from Felicity Heaton. I have been (not so) patiently waiting for this book since Felicity first mentioned her ideas for the series some time ago. Set in London around the same time as the VET books, the Eternal Mates series introduces another world to explore and is full of new and interesting paranormal species - this delights me as PNR is my favourite genre! The heroine, Olivia, is a female scientist who works with a demon hunting organisation called 'Archangel' - there she studies paranormal specimens to identify & discover more about them. Loren, our Hero is an elf prince who mysteriously turns up literally on the doorstep of the building Olivia works in. Waking up in a strange place, injured and out of sorts Loren needs blood to help him heal. Disoriented and with the allure of her blood too much to resist, Loren bites Olivia and a mating bond between the 2 of them starts to form. We soon discover there are unknown, darker forces at work and Olivia & Loren meeting is more than just a coincidence........ As ever, Felicity brings us an action packed, fast paced story with a deliciously hot hero, a feisty heroine, mystery, some twists & turns, a bit of humour and a healthy dose of heat & passion. Throughout the story we are introduced to Sable, a demon hunter who works with Olivia, and Bleu who is Loren's best friend & right hand man - I <3 Bleu and can't wait to read more about him.... There's a few other characters involved in Loren & Olivia's story new & old (see if you can spot a surprise appearance by someone from VET!! - can't wait to see who else pops up in future books!) ;-) but rather than tell you about them all I'm gonna leave you to meet them yourself - I'm really looking forward to catching up with them all in their own stories!! I am a huge fan of Felicity's work and have loved all that I've read. Kissed by a Dark Prince is a definite 5* hit for me and I'm sure the rest of The Eternal Mates series is gonna be just as fantastic!!! Amazing series by my favourite independent author. To start I have to say Felicity Heaton is an amazing author! I've read everything she's written to date and wait anxiously for anything new that she releases. That being said her "Eternal Mates" series is fabulous! Her characters are all so different but all amazing. If you are a lover of Elves, Shifters, Vampires, Fae, Dragons, Witches, Angels, Demons and more these books will be right up your alley. Diverse intense story lines will keep you enthralled and oh yes the sex scenes? Well they will make it very difficult for you to put these books down. And although there are a lot of books in this series with more to come (many I hope) the low cost makes them quite affordable and well worth buying. Books that I have read many times over and never tire of them.
