Must read!. This is my ultimately favorite book! It's the type of book that you read over and over again and it feels like the first time. The book that while you're reading it you forget everything and you feel like you're there. And at the end of the book you end up in a huge dilemma on whether to love what happened and love the guy or hate him. I ended up loving him somehow :)

“Please... don’t...”. Waste your time or money like I did. This book is 5 stars minus 7. Worst, driest, most anticlimactic book ever. Maybe if you like the desert and you want to read hundreds upon hundreds of long drawn out descriptions of desert scenery- then you’ll love this book. I was 60% through the book when I realized this crap was never ending. Nothing happened at all!!!

TOO MUCH FEELS. This book will make you cry, I SWEAR! I'm not much of a crier when it comes to books, BUT THIS, THIS HIT ME REALLY HARD! There's so much emotion dripping from this book. It will reaaaaally stick to you. I READ THIS IN ONE SIT DOWN! IMAGINE! THAT IS HOW GOOD THIS IS. But, i must say the ending left me hanging though. !!!SPOILERS ALERT!!!! I have questions like: what happened to Ty after that? Did Gemma recover? Will they meet again? What happened in prison? What was Ty thinking? Did Ty move back to the Separates? What happened to the Separates? Did they meet new people? SOOOOO MANY QUESTIONS THAT NEED ANSWERS!!!!! p.s crying rn

Very good. Very good story. It was hard to put down. It was gripping when it needed to be. The ending is how it needed to be. This would make an excellent movie! The Characters were full and descriptive. Glad I read it.

FAVORITE BOOK!. I started reading this book about a month ago and stopped for a few weeks because I sprint find the time with finals going on. I read almost the whole book in the past 3 days. This book is totally amazing. It made me tear up at some points and blow in frustration at others, but if you are wondering about whether to read it or not, READ IT!! It is not that long and is ABSOLUTELY Fanominal! I REALLY hope there ends up being a sequel of some sort to this novel, maybe a letter to Gemma from Ty's view sharing his story. I am literally insanely in love with this book and I am for sure going to read all of her others! Definitely a MUST READ!!

A staple in my favorite books. There’s something about this book that draws me back every few months. I’ve read it probably 4-5 times and can finish it within a day or two. I know exactly what’s going to happen, I can picture the storyline in my head as I read, but there’s something about this book that I can’t move past. Stockholm Syndrome is something not everyone may understand, but this book does an excellent job of twisting it in a way that makes you fall for Gemma and Ty’s “situationship.”

Loved it. I was always that person who hatted reading. When I read the first page it really got my attention and I never stopped. It’s by far my 1st favorite book!!! I can even reread it. I love and hate the ending because I got emotional and sad because I was almost done with the book. Please make there be a sequel. I think about Ty and Gemma all the time even tho the ending really got to me, she did the right thing for herself. <3

One of my favorites! Highly recommend. I read this book about 5 years ago and have thought of it at least once a year since. I finally decided to read it again and I’m glad that I did. Still an amazing read and one of my favorite books! It will have you wishing a happy inc ending for Ty and Gemma but still remembering what he did. When the book is over you will be disappointed it ended. Although you won’t have actually experienced Stockholm Syndrome, you will slightly understand how it feels, or at least that what I felt.

Sad.. I read this when I was around 15/16 and I loved it. I just bought it yesterday after 6years and it really tore me apart. I love this book so much. I want to know what happens in the future though. After Ty gets out? How is Gemma coping? A part of me wishes they will go back to The Separates and live their life with the camel, paints, and the sand. I want her to love him the way he needs to be loved :( It would be sooooo cool if Lucy came out with a sequel.

Stolen. This book is not only completeley satisfying but it’s hard to put down once you start reading. The authors use of words are inspirational. The charachters start growing on you and if you’re lucky you won’t get attached: highly doubt it.

My Favorite Book; Must Read. This was the second time i read this book, but it was even better than the first. I could not put this book down, it was so good. The literature and how it was written was SO SO good, and every page made me fall for Ty harder, even though i knew what he was doing was wrong. Definitely my favorite book. absolutely great. This book is by far the best I've ever read before. The format that it is written in really makes you feel apart of the book. Lucy Christopher makes you fall in love with Ty, even though you know you shouldn't. I also never expected the ending. Christopher wrote this book phenomenally. I will never forget this book. It made me question and look at life a whole other way.

GREAT BOOK. I have never really had an interest in reading until my friend was reading this book between classes. It looked very good so i looked on my phone for it.. I found it and downloaded it.. It was defiantly worth the 2.99. It took me about a week an half to read and i never read.. This was a very good book for teens my age(15).

Fantastic.. I'm broken. Literally crying, shaking, moaning, nauseous kind of broken. The ending threw me off, and I'm so sad that they'll never see each other again that my heart hurts. This book is amazingly written and gives me inspiration. Must read. Just try not to get so attached like I did and you'll be fine. Good luck. xxx

Well-written and intriguing. I don’t know how Christopher did it, but I felt myself falling for Ty, despite his wrongdoings. I rode alongside Gemma on the emotional rollercoaster and so desperately wanted them to find happiness with each other, albeit knowing it’s just a fantasy. Great, great story. Some people on here have complained that the story was “anticlimactic”... on the contrary! If you’re looking for a violent captor, you won’t find it in Gemma’s story.

Most favorite book. I read this book in 7th grade, and it was so amazing! I kept having to read it during class because I couldn’t put it down, and my teacher had to end up taking it from me till the end of the day =). Im in ninth grade now, and randomly started thinking about it and just had to read it again! It was as though I had never read it. I never read books twice because I already know wht happens, but I just had to read this one again. Its legit the only book ive ever read twice. My favorite book ever! This is a must! You have to read it!
