Can I have my chapter please?. Chapters 2 and 3 of the third book are the exact same, and clearly the original contents of chapter 2 are greatly missed. It doesn't seem like it would be too hard to put that chapter back where it should be, so I would really appreciate it if you did. These are amazing books, though, and I recommend them to anyone.

A delightful read. What a delightful set of characters and plot. It kept me up many a night reading. The second and third books are better than the first.

The Aliomenti Saga. Pretty good read. I was a bit confused as to the writer’s motives for the main character to travel back to the beginning of the trilogy at first, but quickly caught on. Would definitely recommend these books.

Good time travel book. Really captivating story. Could not put it down. Good characters.

I'd give it 5 stars but..... This is a FANTASTIC concept and plot that is well thought out and intriguing! Unfortunately it is spoiled by poor editing 😞 The trilogy could easily be trimmed by several hundred pages of repetitive verbiage. It seems the author has an (unnecessary) need to constantly repeat background information and it makes for tedious reading. After the first several repetitions, I found myself literally skimming dozens of pages to get back to the plot sequence. The series is recommended, but the careful reader will find themselves skimming the content to get to the next interesting plot development.

The Aloimenti Saga. This series is fantastic! It really made me think outside of the box! I truly love it and look forward to reading more!

Abandoned by chapter four. The subject, as read in the blurb, might be interesting, if it wasn’t for the poor writing. The hero is basically a faultless, extraordinary Mary-Sue type of character who is so wonderful even lowly people will chose to sacrifice their loved ones just to preserve the hero’s way of life. The hero and his family lives in a extremely isolated compound for the Uber rich, but don’t worry he truly is a man of the people (gag). And the villains are so evil they look evil and smell evil and just have an evil way about them. None of that is shown, implied, inferred, or hinted - no, that would be good writing; instead the author tells us everything - every thing!, and does so hamfistedly, leaving nothing to the imagination. There’s better books out there. Don’t waste your time on this.

The Aliomenti Saga boxed set. Excellent story and plot. I’m sorry to say that serious editing is needed. The opening of the book has numerous timeline flips that confused rather than informed. There are numerous contradictions in the storyline that were left in that should have been edited out. Some of the character motivations were lacking and descriptions of technical developments were simplistic for the main character’s background. Technologies were in some cases not consistent with being advanced for the timeline and the background of the main character.

Best ever!!. I got the first three free and finished them in six days. Half way through the third book I was on iBooks buying the next five!! The characters are engaging, interesting and it's been fun "watching" them develop. The story line is fascinating and I love time travel stories. Thank You

Good read. Enjoyed the story and the writing style very much

Glaring inconsistencies. Superficially interesting, but the hero Will is oblivious to his major contradiction. Will encourages others to not judge and avoid arrogance and self interest. However, he makes every decision, including giving immortality to a tyrant, based on saving his future children and the woman his younger self will meet and marry. His whole goal is to save his future regardless of how many people suffer and die. Will even cries after making those decisions but goes ahead anyway with his own selfish goals. Not the voice of reason, just a flawed man that wants his future no matter the consequences and cost to others. The story drags on long after his speeches become the scratching of nails on a blackboard. Lost interest and had to force myself to finish, even though I will read almost anything. Needs a good editor and a little less preaching.

Definitely a page turner.. What happens when human beings acquire supernatural powers? Well, it’s complicated. Even though I already know where this story is headed, the journey has been a roller coaster. Even the villains inspire a certain amount of sympathy. These books kept me up reading way past my bedtime.

Aliomenti series. Some may find a bit hard to get into in the beginning due to the outlandish content, but stick with it, and you will soon be hunting the next in the series like you've been searching for Will Stark for centuries . . .

Birth of the Alliance. Amazing story going back over a thousand years. Such an imagination to create this saga.

The Aliomenti Saga. I absolutely loved this book. I could not put it down. The way history is interwoven into the story is perfect.

Interesting Story but it Drags too much. The concept is interesting. It tries to weave all the old myths into a whole by ascribing them all as actions of the Aliomenti. The trouble I have is that the author develops the story with way too much narrative. We do not view the events through the eyes of the characters as much as by a long series of tales woven by the author. That was tedious, and although I liked the concept I will not read any more of the series.

Aliamenti saga. This book was so different than what I normally read, but kept me fascinated throughout. I would recommend this book to anyone with an open mind or who likes history.

Disappointing. Disappointing use of time. Having passes through a point in time, any change to that point in time will change the future. Therefore it is not possible to correct past actions without changing the future. Will Stark, cannot go back to protect his wife, after he has met her, it is no logical.

A fantastic travel into the world of make believe. To be able to read a book or a series of books that truely transport you to the world of make believe and allow you to forget everything during the time you spend reading it, is both a fantastic experience and very relaxing. I can’t wait to read book four. Thankyou Alex.

An enjoyable read. Thee are some fantastic ideas in this series, and some really clever work around character and places names linking to historical and literary figures and events. Unfortunately there are some really clunky aspects to the writing that I found distracted from the story, and in places technological developments were described in overwhelming detail that really bogged things down.

A long read. The trilogy was a long read. Almost lost me with the oblique references to Jesus and his persecution. The detail of the inventions was incredible to read initially but tiring after awhile. Passing on the 4th book.

Amazing!. I absolutely loved this entire series. I had such a hard time putting these books down. Alex does a fantastic job of holding the audience's attention and making them want more.
