Private Down Under by James Patterson & Michael White Book Summary
The world's most exclusive detective agency opens a new office-in Australia!
With the best detectives in the business, cutting edge technology and offices around the globe, there is no investigation company quite like Private. Now, at a glittering launch party overlooking the iconic Opera House, Private Sydney throws open its doors.
Craig Gisto and his newly formed team have barely raised their glasses, however, when a young Asian man, blood-soaked and bullet-ridden, staggers into the party, and what looks like a botched kidnapping turns out to be a whole lot more.
Within days the agency's caseload is full. But it is a horrific murder in the wealthy Eastern Suburbs and the desperate search for a motive that stretches the team to the limit. Stacy Friel, friend of the Deputy Commissioner of NSW Police, isn't the killer's first victim-and as the bodies mount up she's clearly not the last . . .

Total trashThis book is proof that Patterson can get anything published (as he just said). This book is complete garbage. No plot. No character development. No suspense. DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK. Shame on James Patterson for putting out such crap. I will think hard before buying another Patterson novel..SS in VAScore: 1/5
Private Down UnderThis is the worst Patterson book! I know he doesn't actually write these himself anymore, but he should read them before he puts his name on them. Don't waste your money.Love books 12Score: 1/5

TerribleThis is the worst of the Private Series. Do not buy it. Not only is the plot awful, the storyline doesn’t even align with the other Private novels. I think what makes it even worse is that nearly every female character is sexualized and described based solely on her beauty and physical attributes, even those that are casually mentioned to be highly intelligent (a total afterthought). I personally found this book to be offensive in its portrayal of women..Lala0581Score: 1/5
Private down underThe most disappointing of the Private series. Sloppy mistakes - changing tenses or person, and speaking of Celsius and Fahrenheit, even after all that explanation, got it wrong! Felt there were a lot of "fillers". Mr White needs some practice, and Mr Patterson need to pay closer attention!.Still noneScore: 2/5
Private Down UnderThis was a boring, dull book. A terrible waste of time and money. No wonder James Patterson is putting through so many books so quickly. He evidently isn't requiring any reading enjoyment from them..Mily818Score: 5/5

Private Down UnderI hadn't read a James Patterson book in awhile and decided to read this one. It takes place in Australia and a lot of the locations I recognized. Private Sydney have a few cases going on that they have to solve. A killer is targeting rich elite women in a prominent part of town, the Triads are targeting an ex cop sons and someone is trying to kill a rockstar. This has family drama, suspense, deceit and so much more..Qab854Score: 4/5
SloppyNot enjoying this as much as other Private books. Only on chapter 9. May or may not finish. You can’t tell me someone is in a convertible with the top down then in the very next chapter describe how they got cut up crawling out of the passenger window after a crash. (The car was on its side, not upside down). There’s no roof! Just get out!How did you not catch that in the editing process? Sloppy..SuetapScore: 2/5
