Full of action. This book wasn't what I thought. I thought this was some simple chase serial killer book but this was more! Full of action and suspense great snappy dialogue. Great read!!

Russian Hill. Usually I hate crime thrillers books because they are all so cliche: two people with troubled pasts who have to find a killer and grow closer together. I love Russian Hill because it gets rid of that overemphasis of romance. This book is all about the case and it is written in a way that keeps me wanting more. This is really one of the only books I've seen which could really be classified as thriller. The characters were lovable and their characters shone through clearly in this well-written, relatable work of art. Bringing Abby's family life into this made it more personal and I was able to connect with the characters. This is an amazing book and I look forward to finishing a the series.

Wow. Loved book, couldn’t put it down read all night.

Must read. Excellent read. Great character development. Story moved quickly, with a definite plot and sub plot. Even though there is reference to previous events (that are most likely covered in prior books) it did not take away from the story, just intrigued you - a very savvy way to encourage a reader to buy other books! Fascinating cultural references that had me making a list to Goggle (and try/visit). Definitely plan to read more by this author.

Russian Hill. I just finished this book. I can't wait to read the next two of the Chasing Chinatown trilogy. It's fast paced with twists and turns. I never did figure out how it would end...until the end! Great read!

Russian hill. A real page turner of intrigue and suspense

Captivating. So much better than I’d expected. Abby is the FBI’s most knowledgeable Agent when it comes to serial killers. She’s confident, smart & has a quick wit that can get her into trouble but she’s also strong & fierce so she can take care of herself. Then, she’s thrust into a situation where she’s paired with handsome, martial arts master and SFPD Detective, Kyle, who ultimately gains her trust, but not quite her heart. Great read with lots of plot twists that will keep you from doing your work and/ or sleeping.

Good read. The book started a bit slow, but by the second chapter I couldn’t put it down.

Captivating. Fast-moving and as attention-grabbing as a Vince Flynn novel. Page turning action and likeable characters.

Poor story poor execution. Story not bad but made unreadable by the volume of typos. This is common trait in Ty’s books which is a shame as they could be good be clearly being rushed to market with no proofing or even a quick spell check. Don’t waste your money.

Best agent in the FBI. Firstly I love this character from previous reads. She continues to get better. This 5ft nothing half Chinese agent who does it all. However the character is nothing without a strong storyline and of course supporting characters and this book has it in spades. Wow, action packed, interesting lots of twists and turns and heart thumping moments. So different yet so right. Ty is a great author I have yet to read something I don’t like.

Amazing!. I was so drawn in by the book, it took me almost 3 days to finish. I'm very much looking forward to reading the other two books. I am officially a Ty Hutchinson fan! :D

Good read. Ty Hutchinson sets up a believable plot about killers involved in a game to kill people. Written in first-person narrative from the viewpoint of a female FBI agent, Abby Kane, the plot moves well as she strives to solve the grisly murders with her partner, Kang. Good characterization with interesting descriptions of San Francisco as the locale. First book in a series and a recommended read.
