Big lie. Didn't like "The Husband's Secret". Read this to be ahead of HBO. Don't bother. Peppered with cliched characters and secrets. High strung career woman, new girl in town, rich perfect wife everyone envies, bitter divorced woman and let's not forget the nanny. Interior monologues go on & on and repetitive. Finally climax comes. Ridiculous culprit. Problem is the author continues to drone on with interior monologues after the climax. Who cares anymore? Enough. I heard you the first 20 times.

To crazy but oh so true. This book was off the chain. That means good to those. (that don’t know) I collect books that I consider to be a “classic” & one I’ll read numerous times. It’s going in my library for sure. Girl’s ya gotta get it. Easy read with a glass of wine...or not.

Loved this Book. I loved this book and had a difficult time putting it down. Very few books pull in. The last one I remember was Gone Girl that I discovered before most did. So for me to give 5 stars is incredibly rare. I wasn't sure about this one at first, however I wanted to watch the HBO series its based off of, but wanted to read it first. I'm so glad I did. Lots of twists to make the reading fun and keep you on your toes. Highly recommend.

Book and Mini Movie crazy. I read the book about 2 years ago. And then I got HBO for free and the Mini Movie series was was on HBO! OMG! I was on the edge of my seat! It was so freaking awesome! But the book was so much better!!! Loved, loved, loved it!!!!

Attention Grabbing Until the Very End. Reading this book felt like watching a snow globe after it’s been turned upside down. Watching (or reading) each little piece fall together, page by page. Nothing is what it seems and the characters are all very relatable. A great book and I recommend it to everyone.

Impossible to stop turning the pages. I tried this book in an effort to rekindle my love for books. I picked this book up on a Thursday afternoon and had it finished by Monday night. I am a full-time college student who also has busy weekends. I couldn’t stop thinking about what would happen next in the plot line. I highly recommend this book for anyone who likes an eerie drama.

Pretty Good. This book started out relatively slowly. Took a little bit of time to get into it. But just past the middle, it begins to pick up and is hard to put down at all. The book just barely sheds light on domestic violence in all socio-economic statuses. I wish it had gone a little further in but hopefully this at least will spark conversations around the world.

Stands out from the show. I loved the mini-series. I was a bit hesitant to read the original work, but I am glad I did! I could not put it down. The internal workings of the characters minds is wonderfully written. I could feel the tension and drama come off the pages.

So good. I stumbled across this book because of a commercial on tv. I kept hearing about the tv show, and I'm so glad I bought this book! It was soooo good. The characters and their intertwining lives were so entertaining. I liked how the author showed that everything is not what you see. I found myself laughing and crying and gasping in shock as I read! For someone who is 21 and so far detached from the kind of life styles described in the book, I still thoroughly enjoyed it!

Page turner-SO ADDICTIVE!. Like many of my favorite books, I saw the tv show or movie first, then read the book. As soon as I heard Alexander Skarsgard was part of the cast, there was no way I was going to miss this show!!! "Big Little Lies" sucked me in within the first ten minutes and I ordered the book the next day!!!! Just ONE of the many reasons I love this story is that just when you think you know what's going to happen, SURPRISE, something that probably never crossed your mind happens. Excellent writing, acting, editing & story. It keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire story, never a dull moment. I was so upset the series was so short. Once I started reading the book I realized why they made the mini-series. Every time I'm about to get to the end of a chapter, I think "ok, this is the last chapter for tonight" then when I get to the end, I read the next one, and the process continues lol Great book and show!

Big Little Lies. This is the third Liane Moriarty book that I have read. Her characters draw one in from the first few pages with their flaws and outrageous traits. Most of her books contain a moral dilemma and leaves one rushing to get to the conclusion but also putting on the brakes to keep it from ending. Can't wait for her next book to come out.
