I laughed, I cried. Although I genuinely liked Marty Short prior to reading this book. I love him now. The tale of his happenstance rise to the top, his disillusion with his career to the loss of his wife...OMG, what a great book! A fun and quick read. Get it and jump in now! You'll be glad you did.

Loved it!. I've always enjoyed Martin Short as a performer, so I was anxious to read his book. This is full of dishy, Hollywood stories that made me laugh out loud. Of course, I also shed a few tears. A great read - couldn't put it down.

If there were 100 stars it wouldn't be enough.... I LOVED this book. I savored it like a fine wine, or a suitcase full of dark chocolate chip cookies with walnuts...never wanting it to end. I laughed, I cried, I related to losing a mate way too early. Thankfully I read it on my iPad so the pages never got soggy. But I'm here to tell you Marty, life IS for the living and you should find love again. Your bright light shines on everyone who knows and loves you. A Delight. I've always loved watching Martin Short. And, he, without fail, cracks me up. Reading this book had me laughing so much, until it made me cry. What a beautiful life he's had. It couldn't have happened to a sweeter man.

After reading the whole story, I must say he has had a lot of FUN, he knows how to LIVE, and he has a heart for Nancy that makes me tear up because he's remarkable with the LOVE stuff too!

Honest and forthright.. I applaud Martin Short for his honesty and forthrightness. I came away from this book feeling that I know him for who he is and what I discovered is it is all very likeable. We can often think that the celebrities life is perfect....this will tell you otherwise, but on the other hand, I somehow think Martin Short has the skill set very few have that makes his life so full and meaningful.

I must say. Thanks for the laughs.
