Omggg sooo good. This book is AMAZING!!! Sooo good! One of my favorite books by one of my favorite authors!!!

Good read. The story was interesting and a good read. I enjoyed her other books a lot more . I enjoyed the beginning but towards the end of the middle and end I was losing interest. Not sure if Nina became annoying and Jake started to act so weak. I really wish the ending would have stopped him from seeing Ivy. It is just so depressing and I really don't blame Nina for acting the way she did at times.

AMAZING... Must Read.... I was never really a reader and have a hard time finding books that keep me interested. This book did that from beginning to end. If your reading these reviews to question wether or not to read this... DO IT. I promise you won't regret it. Hope you love Jake just as much as I do. He is so far my favorite character in any book I've ever read. EVER. Penelope is an amazing writer. Thank you for bringing us Jake.

Sooo good until.... The first part was really good. The 2nd part was kind of everywhere to me. There just seemed like a lot was piling on and there was no way they were gonna make it out together. Very unrealistic. I loved the characters and the fact that the POV is from both of them.

Great Read. I really enjoyed the pace of this book. We meet a young woman who has moved in with three other people in an apartment to go to school. Over the years she has developed fears of being in enclosed spaces. Jake is brilliant and one of her roommates. He makes a deal with Nina and so it begins. This story also introduces us to several other people and they all fit so well into the story. We have a mystery, friendship, tension, loss, and love all rolled into the one story. I really enjoy the devotion and commitment that this author puts into her male characters. The books that I have read by her all have men that are devoted to the ones they love and committed to them with everything that they are.

5 stars!!!. Jake undone was a roller coaster of drama. From the moment I started reading it I couldn't put it down. I received a copy from the romance read club of the month and was blown away by Jake and Nina's story. Over all I'd give this a 5 star rating and can not wait to read Mitch and Skylar's story.

I loved this to the moon!. Jake and Nina are some of the most wonderful characters I have ever read. I was so taken in by their story that I couldn't put it down. This is my first Penelope Ward book and won't be the last, since now I see what MY SKYLAR is going to be about. Gah! Skylar! That kid nearly stole the show! Loved her, loved Jake, loved Nina.

4.5 stars! Emotional and Steamy!. I've owned a signed paperback copy of this book since the end of June 2014. I didn't read this book until last week. I need to get better at reading books I already own, especially if I'm missing out on awesomeness like Jake Undone. I'd heard all of the connected books were amazing, but I had to read one to find out on my own. With Jake Understood releasing soon, I knew now was the perfect time to read this book. I think the best part of this book was the chemistry between Nina and Jake. Nina had this instant attraction to Jake, but it took a while for her to open up to Jake and for him to open to her as well. I liked how close the two of them were; It was very easy to feel their connection. I liked Nina. I felt horrible she was crippled by her fears, and I loved how Jake tried to help her get over them. I could also feel the sadness in Jake and I felt like whatever he was struggling with was hard. I liked seeing him leaning on Nina for moral support. Another one of my favorite scenes was the one which gave this book its title. That scene was slayed me and it made so much sense. I want to mention more, but I can't without giving away pivotal information about the book. I also liked how the book was told from dual points of view. It really helped me understand the problems the couple was facing and their approaches to finding solutions. This book made me laugh and cry, but I loved it all as I read it. There were a couple of scenes that felt over the top and stretched my imagination too much, but they made for some great talking points and laughs with my guy friends. For example there's this one phone sex scene that turned me on in the beginning and just as I was getting to the good part, turned me off. Well it made me laugh and wonder, so it broke my concentration. Perhaps it's just me. I also loved getting to meet Skylar and Mitch. I can't wait to read their story! I want to thank Penelope Ward for talking about a number of issues in this book that I don't think are talked about enough. It really made this book more powerful. I loved being in Jake's head. I'm really looking forward to getting into his head again and seeing what he's up to now as well as what he has to say. I have no doubt Penelope Ward has done an amazing job. I don't regret impulsively walking up to her table at Book Bash and buying all of her published books unread. I can't wait to see what other delights are hiding in the pages of her stories!

Chemistry Overload. I completely understand all of the hype I've seen about Jake. I don't know what took me so long to read this book to be honest. I had some audible credits that had stacked up and so I started the Gemini series by Penelope Ward. Once I started this story, I had to hear more. Nina moves to NYC to go to school and struggles with Math. Her mysterious roommates offers to help her out by tutoring her. Nina also has some fears and they make a side bet that if she doesn't pass her tests, that she will have to face them. After some time, they develop a friendship along with a strong attraction to each other. They have some things in their past that get in the way. That's about all I can say without giving too much away. But, let me tell you... I could feel the chemistry between these too. And I love that the story doesn't end in the typical way, but addresses some struggles that couples face. It's not always just the HEA. Definitely enjoyed this one and adored Jake's poems!

Oh! My!. Definitely heart wrenching! But is an amazing book and couldn't put it down!

Not typical. Was hoping it would be like Hollywood dirt it wasn't but it did not disappoint... Good love story and it did not feel like I was reading just another romance book ....

Another Winner. This story had so many ups and downs but I loved that they truly fought for each other the whole time. Great and easy read!

Awesome!. Awesome story, I was unable to stop reading! Loved the story, there were crying times and lots of laughter! It was lovely how Jake wanted to help Nina overcome her fears! Jake is awesome how he would not give up on Ivy either!

Undone!!!. I can't believe I waited so long to read this book. Especially when I can relate to Nina in almost every way. She stole my heart. She had my emotions flying high. I felt every fear she has. I adore her. Jake is Smart charismatic and Hot, he's got a big big heart. He's selfless. But he had a secret and it was killing me to find out what? And oh my it's a doozy. The story flowed perfectly I loved everything about it .

A funny and emotional story. A good read. With some hilariously funny moments lots of emotional scenes and sexy hot scenes throughout. Nina has just moved into an apartment shared with her childhood friend, along with a few other roommates. It is well worth a read.

Just WOW!. This is the third book of this authors I have now read, the first was Stepbrother dearest and I loved that so much I wanted to read more. Penelope is fast becoming my favourite author, she writes from the heart. I can honestly say I laughed out loud more than once at this read, I cried more than once too. I just could not put it down, if you are looking for a thoroughly enjoyable, heartwarming read this is the one (or any of this authors books, they are all winners) now to find the next one!

I have to admit I cried.. What a beautiful story. Yes it made me cry and laugh too. A very tender story of true love. I will certainly be reading more from this author.
