Great read. Although set around high school romance, this novel doesn’t limit itself to a teen audience. Whether it’s because Hannah’s experience resonates with so many or simply because it’s so well written, I’ve read it a few times over the last 3 years and enjoyed it each time.

Compelling and raw. I was worried this book was going to be soft and tired after seeing it was more of a YA title, but this story was beautifully heart wrenching and Hannah's journey is one that I amongst many women can relate to on a deep level.

Nothing's made me cry and smile at the same time so much before. This is a fantastic, gripping novel. It's not so much that you can't put it down, but more so that once you've started reading, you won't want to. Despite wonderful depictions of the progression of love in this novel, it is ultimately a brilliant portrayal of the love between best friends, and that's something that should be an influence on all YA literature. HNITS also does a fantastic job of exploring the role of religion in many young people's lives and it's really refreshing to see the topic handled in a fluent yet approachable manner. So basically, great novel!
