Evensong. A wonderful book, I loved it

An excellent read.... ...I loved the concept of an author being forcefully dragged into his own novel, and look forward to Jeff’s future adventures.

Evensong Insomniac. Totally surpassed my expectations!!!! I’d wake up during the night to go potty and before I knew it I was back in the book and waking up late for work!!!!!! Amazing work !!

Very good. When I first began the book I couldn't put it down, it was really good I kept reading and reading for four hours!

Awesome Read. This book was such a good story. It was hard to put down and kept you on the edge of your seat. Action packed and more twists and turns. You never knew where the author was going to take you in the next scene. I would definitely recommend this book.

Fantasy story with a twist. The book opens with an author trying to determine how to accomplish sending his story down the direction he wants. He finds himself in the story and the people are real. AND there are things happening (bad things) that he had never thought of.

BRILLIANT!. I absolutely loved this story. It captivated me from the start and it's so refreshing to read a fantasy novel that isn't about the cliche vampires and werewolves. Can't wait to start the next one!

Evensong. Wow an outstanding read. A couple of places where I wondered whether I was reading a kids book with sexual references or an adult book with childish bits. A good read anyway and recommended.

Great read. I do not remember how I discovered Krista Walsh but I have to say that I loved this first book and the entire Meratis Trilogy; I sincerely tell you, you can’t stop at the first book! The entire trilogy is captivating; I couldn’t put the books down and couldn’t wait for the next chapter. A must read if you want to be carried away into a fantastic universe full of intrigues, magic and twists, and charming and endearing characters. Also very interesting to read an author from my own city, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Now, time to read the sequel, the Cadis Trilogy

Evensong. I enjoyed the storyline. I have read a lot of sci-fantasy books and having the "author" of the story be part of it provides a different twist to it. Makes it different from the usual lot of fiction in this genre.

Excellent read. This book was a surprise to me. I got it not expecting much but I couldn't put it down. Very captivating read the characters are very well developed, and story sucks you in and won't let you go. This is first book I have read of Kristi Walsh's but it won't be my last. Now excuse me while I get a coffee and start on the next book in the series.

A fantastic read!. Evensong is a delight to read! You can really feel the love that Krista has for her world and her characters. Andvell is a place where any fan of fantasy would love to get lost in. The book has the kind of draw that comes from roll-playing. You can tell Krista has all but met her characters, as her protagonist Jeff has, and that they are labours of love. Any fan of the fantasy genre with instantly want to jump into her world to go on adventures, fight creatures, and explore the magic she has created. Evensong is a pleasure to experience and I'm looking forward to joining Krista's ensemble again! Eventide, here I come!
