Cute but Simplistic. While the love story is adorable and the premise is undoubtedly TV worthy, the characters and plot lines are starkly simplistic. I wish the book was longer, and gave the whole story a little more development. The TV show did turn me on to this series, however the show is very different, providing the audience with the missing complexity and a more mature story. Still an enjoyable read with lovable characters!

Absolutely agree!. I was introduced to the show “Famous in Love” so of course once I found out it was based on a book, I had to read it. The book and show are definitely different but the book is amazing. The constant plot twists keep you on the edge wanting more.
