Addicted by Tracy Wolff Book Summary

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • Ethan Frost returns in another breathtaking novel by Tracy Wolff, the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of Ruined.

As Chloe Girard discovers, there’s love . . . and then there’s addiction.

Ethan Frost is everything a woman could want in a man. He’s rich, gorgeous, powerful, one of the most eligible bachelors in the world.

But that’s not why I’m with him.

I love Ethan for all the things no one else gets to see: his innate kindness, his reckless spontaneity, his unwavering determination to use his brilliance for good. I love the way he looks at me, the way he touches me. The way he makes me forget the wreckage of my past and the twisted fear that still lives inside me.

But sometimes it terrifies me how much I crave him, how much I need him just to breathe. I always thought it would be my past that ruined us, but there’s a darkness in Ethan I never dreamed existed. Can we survive as his secrets surface—threatening to unravel us both?

With the baggage and seemingly insurmountable odds stacked against Chloe and Ethan, trust is the key.”—Scandalicious Book Reviews

“Tracy Wolff pulls the reader into an emotional, heartbreaking . . . storyline about two people whose pasts collide with the present, resulting in a roller coaster of push and pull.”—The Reading Cafe

“[Wolff] really has a wonderful way of putting her words together and bringing her characters to life.”—Smokin’ Hot Book Blog

“Wolff is a brilliant author who writes great characters and steamy hot scenes. . . . I think you’ll enjoy it. Ethan Frost is totally worth it!”—Pretty Sassy Cool

“This book had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. It made me fall in love with these characters all over again but in an entirely different capacity. I highly recommend this book as well as all of Tracy’s books. I look forward to reading more from her.”—Love Between the Sheets

Good. Finally! Closure... The story was okay, a lot of drama concerning the frost family and both of the lead characters insecurities. I felt they argued about the same things over and over. They'd make up and forgive then go at it again...go tiring. I wish they had concluded what happened to the evil brother Brandon and her quirky semi alcoholic personal issues roommate. There's a story there...right? I honestly thought that by the end of the book she'd be identified as a victim of evil Brandon as well. Would explain her self loathing issue. Anyway, overall it's a good book, definitely worth the $3

So so. Experienced the same things as others - inconsistencies with her features and how her car which she was so proud to have purchased and fixed herself went from a mini cooper to a honda randomly. Thought I was going crazy until I looked it up. Not what you want to do when you are enjoying a book - go back to make sure your not loosing it!

Addicted. Loved Ethan and Chloe please finish out their story and tie up loose ends in book(Brandon, Ethan's mom, Chloe's parents)

Total Bore. This book was such an epic fail I would like a refund. I fell in love with Chloe and Ethan in Ruined and was salivating at the mouth for Addicted. It was such a yawn that I started skipping around after about 10 chapters and every time I did I either landed on Chloe begging for Ethan sexual or Chloe trying to stop herself from thinking about Ethan. The storyline sucked because it basically consisted of her trying to get over her past...excuse me if I'm wrong but wasn't she doing that in the first book. The ending of Ruined was EPIC and the author failed to build upon that. In a nut shell this book is about Chloe trying to get over the fact Brandon is Ethan's brother. This is another example of authors trying to pay their bills because this story should have been in one book! Get the sample first and you'll see for yourself!

Good Read. I loved this book but I felt like she opened stories on certain characters but never went in depth and made you wonder. It was also frustrating how they fought about the same things over and over. All in all it was a great book though.

Details. Very entertaining! The only issue I had is that details in the second book are different than the first. She drives a Mini Cooper in the first and a Honda in this book. There are some other details I remember in this book that contradict the first. Other than that both books are great reads. I wish there was a third and fourth and fifth...

IRRITATED. This book irritated me several times with its unrealistic content (I'm so sure an adult intern would trip you at work and be that nasty), wishy-washy Chloe (how many times can you leave this man?), annoying sex scenes ("I got you babe"), conflicting details (is Chloe red head or blond? Mini Cooper or Honda?) and I had several unanswered questions. The epilogue didn't answer: did Chloe get into law school? What about her crazy roommate? Whatever- I skimmed the entire second half of the book. Totally disappointed.

So worth the wait. I constantly checked to see if maybe this book would be released early as I was dying to read it. It was so worth the wait! I loved it from cover to cover. I won't spoil it, but I loved how it ended. Even though I am sad it it's over. Thanks for a wonderful read.

Wow. This series was wonderful to read. I love their love story and it makes me hopeful to find the person I hope to one day become addicted to.

Closure, but lacking. It was nice to finally get the ending of their story with this second book. However, I felt the story line was rushed and undeveloped. I was disappointed with the ending... It was as if the author was telling me the story and then a timer went off and the story ended. Abrupt. I am happy to have the closure but feel like more could have been given. I think this was just mediocre. Main parts of their story (her parents, his mother & brother, her brother, law degree, justice, outcome of political race, etc.) were unfinished and merely glossed over.

Continuity issues!. Not even halfway through the second book and I'm flipping back to the first to make sure I'm not crazy. How can the MAIN CHARACTER go from a redhead to a blond without someone, namely the writer, noticing. Not to mention her car totally changes... Maybe in the third book she will be a 6 foot Amazonian princess with long black hair and drive a Prius??

Review: Ethan Frost #2: Addicted. Addicted by Tracy Wolff is the second book in her Ethan Frost series. It picks up where book one, Ruined left off. There are dark and damaging secrets between Ethan and Chloe that neither were aware of in the beginning. When the darkness becomes another bond shared between them will they be able to get past it or is it the final straw? Chloe hides a darkness in her past. A secret that she keeps tightly under lock and key so that she can remain strong enough to continue day to day. Ethan is now privy to this secret AND a party to it as well, albeit unknowingly. Can they come back from something so dark and twisted? Another freat story with these amazing characters that I just couldn't put down. Told again from Chloe's POV only. I am very excited for the next book in the Ethan Frost series, Exposed but in between this book and book three is the Play Me series by Tracy Wolff that takes place in Vegas and involves Ethan's best friend Sebastian and his love interest, Aria. Ethan and Chloe make a guest appearance in this series. The first book in the five part Play Me serial that is available in it's entirety is... Play Me #1: Play Me Wild, followed in order by Play Me #2: Play Me Hot, Play Me #3: Play Me Hard, Play Me #4: Play Me Real, and Play Me #5: Play Me Right.

Disappointed. The first book was really good and I expected the same with this but the writer got the main characters hair color wrong in this book and didn't follow through with the plot and just had a weak finish. I felt like focus was not there when writing this one.

Same Author?. I liked the first book and it had promise, but this second was almost as if someone else wrote it. The whole plot was: he doesn't tell her something- she gets mad and runs away - literally - they have crazy sex and make up. Repeat. Repeat. Other discrepancies: Chloe had curly red hair in the first book, blond hair in the second. I guess she could have gotten into all her roommate's hair dye. Another confusion: if Brandon was with her all through high school to torment her, why is he now 25 and she is barely 21? She was 15 when he assaulted her so he should have been out of school already at 19! The first book had more of a plot and nothing was resolved in this book, with any of their parents or their brothers, the evil eye intern Rick, or even her roommate. It was all about makeup sex.

So not "ADDICTED". Very disappointed in the second book "Addicted" It ended very abruptly!!!! WTH!!!! Please don't waste you time on this book!!!

Disappointed. Very disappointed in this second book. I was so excited for the release. Read it in one day but I feel like they kept going back and forth in this story. I was hoping for more.

Gotta take the good with the bad..... First let me start by saying I so love the story line, and the characters in this book and in the first. I gave it 3 stars because I felt at most times there was too much feeling and descriptive writing going on. I mean, if you love the books that can give you a whole page of how this girl's heart is hurting, we'll then this is the series for u. I on the other hand get agitated with those types. The plot started off good and then kept going back and forth. The whole book was of Chloe trying to either fight her feelings for Ethan or whining about the way he was acting because she couldn't make her mind up to be with him. It made it hard to read sometimes. The feelings were strung out way too much and the ending was rushed. I also would of liked to know what happened with some of the other characters. Maybe if the author focused on less feelings and more background on the extra characters, this would of been a 5 star series for me. I'm disappointed because even though the author does this some in her Shakin Dirty series a bit, I still love that series and it's one of my favorites. This author has it in her to be as big as some of the other big romance writers. I hope she works it out. Cause I would love to see a lot more of her if she can get the kinks worked out.

Redundant. Loved ruined so decided to get addicted to see what happens next! But it basically was the same thing! She walks away he chases her! Also in ruined she drove a mini minor and had crazy red hair! A couple of weeks later in addicted she drives a Honda and now has flowing blond hair! Seriously! That's just stupid! Plus he's dating this child who keeps having temper tantrums. Why not make her a little older and more believable! I need a refund! And the author needs a fact checker

So Not Addicted. Wow, I don't normally write a review when I do not like a book, but I felt that if my review could save someone else the emotional headache then at least something good came out of this. After loving the first book, I don't understand why the author followed with such a horrible second book. If I have to read one more time about Chloe being shattered into tiny fragmented pieces but miraculously made whole once again when she and Ethan have sex, I am going to scream!!! I would say that this book p...more

Slightly confused :/. Totally love the books, and can't wait for the 3rd to come out :) The only thing I found wrong or should say a little confusing is that Chloe went from having curly red hair & driving a Mini Cooper (book 1) to a straight haired Blonde that drives a Honda (book 2) with no real explanation of either change. So it has me thinking it was an overlooked mistake made by the writer or editor or possibly both ??? Although neither mistakes take away from the story, it's still great :) Hoping Chloe doesn't become a brunette that drives a Hummer in book 3 LOL....

Good Read. A good finish to this story but I wish it went more into what happens with Brandon, and Ethan's mom. Also the ending while good, was a little abrupt. Wanted to know more. Book was very emotional and made you want to fight for them. That being said, definitely one I will read again. :)

Ok. I seen so much potential for where this book could have gone. Instead it was the same story told in slightly different ways throughout the book. (I was going to scream if she tripped over her own feet one more time. ) Another thing that I can't understand is how it made it past editors with such big changes from the first book. First book she drove a Mini Cooper, second book it was a Honda. First book she had red hair, second book she had blond hair. Overall I was disappointed.

disappointed. after loving the first book, I was really looking forward to this one !!! as well as a few editorial mistakes, where descriptive changes were made from the first book, it all felt a bit rushed, padded out in the middle and the ending was just bland

So much potential!!. I loved Ruined and couldn't wait to read Addicted. While I loved the story, the editorial mistakes such as with Chloe's hair colour and car (it's the subtle details that count!) and the mediocre ending left me feeling a little let down. There was definitely a third book that could have been written out of this wonderful story ...there's still time :-)

Exciting. Great read

Ruined!!. Good lord above!!! Can a book GET any better than this??. I'm the worlds slowest reader but even I finished this little beautie in 2days!! Ok, so my house is now a mess my husbands been abandoned and kids!!! What kids?? He hee. ;) gee wiz Tracy - you sure know how to grab hold of a reader and give em a dam good shake!! lOVE IT! (And bbreaath) he he hee.. Xx

Addicted. Although I do enjoy Tracy's books, as I have read 5 of them, I do find it frustrating to come across discrepancies that should have been caught before the book was released, like the fact that Chloe had red hair in "Ruined" and blond hair in "Addicted". I couldn't believe such a careless mistake had been made.

addicted. there's gotta be another one after this, I'm the one addicted to Ethan frost now lol.
