5/5. This was one of my favorite books growing up and I love it. It’s so mysterious and it’s amazing idk what book you’d prefer over this one!

Heavily Edited?. I sense a book that may have been drastically edited and maybe embellished for a juvenile audience. Who knows what the first draft of this book looked like? Maybe something 10 times scary and controversial! You can tell there were some elements specifically inserted for the benefit of a juvenile audience. What a pity! I would have loved to read what Dahl REALLY wanted to say.

The Witches. This book was heartfelt and warming to the soul, and you could never predict what was going to happen next, it was beautifully original.

I love it because it's a great book where a boy and his parents are going to his grandmothers house and they got into a big car crash and his parents die! Then in his parents will his grandmother has to take care of him. Then the boy and his grandmother go on a series of adventures to exterminate all witches of the earth! I hope you read this book! Happy reading! P.S, I'm reading this book for the 11 time!!! 🦄🦄🦄
