Happy sigh. Loved this book. I laughed out loud several times and fell in love with the characters. My favorite part may have been all the crazy phone calls he got by giving his number out. Seriously the best book I have read this year. Still smiling! Well done!

Fun Read. Very quick read, love the realistic dialogue and characters. Well written romance scenes and character interactions. Definitely worth the read, the fact that it's free is a greater bonus, I won't hesitate to purchase other books by Nancy, she is my kind of author.

The movie was better (extreme sarcasm). This plot was a rip-off of the old movie Doc Hollywood with Michael J Fox except the main male character is a lawyer whose already figured out his high-pressure job is killing him when he gets derailed in a small town by a vehicular accident. I mean right down to saving a pregnant lady in a car. There were so many similarities, I was disgusted thinking she watched the movie and sat down to rewrite the story with a few differences. I could complain a lot more but since it was a free book on iBooks, I guess I got what I paid for on this one...nothing. It could have been better with more character development, more chemistry between the characters, less predictability and better dialogue...but there was not any of that. I found myself liking the minor characters more and finishing the book just to see how many more plot similarities there would be.

A fun read!. Really enjoyed the book and the author made the characters come alive. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series. Strongly recommend!

Basic and Boring. It’s what is says on the tin. Nothing more. Nothing less. And don’t be fooled all the background stuff with the Inheritance and the deed and whatnot, it gets solved bloodlessly so don’t expect any action from there. Its a very soft boiled romance that has a happily ever after once the characters realise the solution you’ve been yelling at the book from minute one. It also has a very obvious conclusion that makes you just want to face-plant into the nearest flat surface at how obvious it was to everyone else except the MCs. And then we don’t even get much of a conclusion which is also just disappointing given the meagre build up the book tried for.
