The writer. Every book in this series has been great. I also am reading another series from him in the “fantasy” genre. I don’t typically read either science fiction or fantasy as a rule. But I think I’ll mourn when I’ve gone through the last book.

great backstory on Amos, pretty good read. the changing perspective was a little odd to me, but i got used to it. the backstory itself was great. made “The Churn” that Amos mentioned in the show make sense. now i wish they would make a short film about Amos’ story.

Good addition. To any fan of the 'Expanse' series, this is a must read. Amos is often the harbinger of death that changes the cascading tides, so his story is undeniably essential to the evolution of who we see in the latter years covered by the main series. I cannot necessarily speak to the negative reviews given by some readers, as my own enjoyment of the smaller novellas may have overshadowed their points. Excited for more to come from this author.

Amos the beginning. This short story fills in a lot of questions about the character of Amos in the Expanse universe. It is well written and quick to read. A worthy purchase.
