Review. Loved this book! It had me hooked!! I highly recommend this book if you love, romance novels!!

Thorough enjoyment with a trigger warning. I thoroughly enjoyed this couple’s story and the strength of the main character. This was definitely a journey to take over the 12-year time period. Just want to add a trigger warning for anyone who has ever experienced sexual assault, particularly with drugs involved.

Pretty intense. This story had a lot going on with the characters. It was hard to believe everything that was happening to them. I generally like more realistic romance.

Great read. The characters were fantastic and the story was great. There’s a lot of loss and love in this story. Great read.

Disappointing. Most of the book is a flashback and not enough time spent developing the characters as adults.

Love from Afar. This was a surprisingly wonderful read. I definitely will be reading more of Mona Ingram’s books!

Dry. The prologue and the first chapter had so much promise...and then the next 80% of the book was a huge flashback. The flashbacks were just too long and there were instances where the author could made it more concise. I felt like I was reading the Twilight series all over again (except even Twilight had more plot that this novel) where the protagonist is just dragging on and on with no real excitement. The ending felt really rushed and abrupt with absolutely no character development at all. Overall, it's a very "toned-down" and bland read. I regret the ~2 hours I spent on the novel.

Best Story Ever!. I totally loved this book, it got me hooked up since the beginning! I loved the fact that the story played real life tragedies in such a detailed way, and I just got immersed in the life of the leading lady, picturing myself living and surviving the harsh situations she faced! But obviously, the romance was incredible, when I was reading I just imagined myself having a boyfriend as amazing as Cole! Everything was perfect, and the most important part for me is that it had a happy ending just like I wanted! Highly recommend it!

Felt rushed. I wanted to like this book but never felt connection to characters. Book sped through time. Lacked any kind of emotion

Enjoyed This Read. I really enjoyed reading about the characters and times they shared. This is a book I would share with others for enjoyment or informational purposes. There were a few misspellings but I understood what was being said. Loved it!

Terrible. I've never seen an author so bound and determined to throw everything plus the kitchen sink at her characters. The entire book feels like she spent more time dreaming up hellish things the characters could go through than she did actually developing a storyline. Then, after all that build-up, she wraps everything up in a couple of pages and basically invalidates everything she just wrote about. It's an insult to the reader and I definitely won't be going on any more of this author's literary roller coasters.

I enjoyed the boot till that happened. I love this book but why can’t she keep her baby? It’s weird to give birth to a baby and then handing it over to your sister. Even if he/she brought back those painful memories it shows that even when there’s darkness there’s light. And the baby would’ve been her light. I know from experience my baby is my light. Just looking at my baby on a bad brings me so much joy which is why I named her Joy. But anyway good book (⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎)

Can’t put down. Characters and details of the setting along with great writing talent make for a great read!

Waste of time. Wouldn’t recommend.

Sweet but sad love story. Allison and Cole are two pieces to a whole but lots of challenges get in the way! Love, betrayal, and others manipulation can’t kill what’s meant to be. Enjoy!

Great book. I can honestly say once I started reading this book I couldn't even put my phone down 👍🏽I was in suspense while reading the book I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next 👍🏽this book is a good read☺️🙂
