Couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read book 2.

Twisted for sure. A better title would be rape me. I do not find stories about raping innocent girls appealing. It was a waste of money buying this book, because I am not reading it.

Nora & Julian 😍. This is not your typical romance. It's a little dark and twisted but it was written so well!! I started rooting for Nora & Julian about half way through the book and I couldn't put it down once I started reading it...took me only 6 hours. I'm definitely continuing with this series.

Makes no sense. If you’re looking for a “good” “rape” book then try Francette Phal’s Flawed. That book had character and depth and emotion whereas this one was a description of a woman with Stockholm Syndrome. I don’t know what I was expecting with this book but with all the good reviews I was willing to give it a shot. The plot was indescribably boring. The side character was boring. The motivation of the central characters were boring. I read the whole book in about an hour just breezing through most of the text to figure out what happened next because - and hence the 2 star rating - I still wanted to figure out what would happen and if the main character would ever do anything worth doing. *spoiler alert* she does not. I won’t be continuing this series.

Addicting. I love the way Anna Zaires tells a story. You can really feel the emotions the character are feeling. Definitely different from the typical romance novel. I could not stop reading once I purchased this book.

Love ❤️. I love romance and it was a romance indeed. I love writing and the strong chemistry these characters have and I can’t wait for the next book of the series.

Disturbingly Good!. Its not a typical love story but it is a love story. It's twisted and disburbing. I loved the book!

This story is not what you think.. Ok, this book is not what it appears to be. This is not a love story. It's a rape story. For those of you who have been molested or raped, do not read this book. It could upset you. I have only read 300 pages and I just can't continue. This man rapes her over and over. Takes her virginity and he abuses her. Why would anyone want to read about rape? I think that the writer is trying to make a story about the psychology of being held captive and learning to trust and care for your captor. At least that is the only thing I can make of it because she is using the fact that Julian is attractive and knows how to make Nora orgasm when he rapes her as a basis for Nora's learning to love Julian. But folks, it's still rape! Having said that, the writing is fine no mistakes in the writing and it's well thought out story. But I just don't want to read about being raped and possibly causing myself nightmares. Sorry I can't give this a good review. But it's just not my thing. But the excerpt was a bit misleading.

Dark. This is not your typical love story. This story is about a young lady that is just starting her life as an adult, when her whole gets turned upside down. You read about her struggle when she is kidnapped. The love and hate she has for her captor. It's a must read. I read it in one day couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read the rest of the books to the story.

Better than expected. Based on the blurb or summary, I was not 100% sure about this book. But I decided to give it a chance. I loved this story. I loved it so much that I read the trilogy for this story within a few days.

The beat book I have read in YEARS. This story is everything I had hoped it would be and more.

Not what is expected. This is not a love story. It is a story of a girl who is kidnapped and raped over and over again and written in a way that is portrayed to make this all seem ok. Please do not purchase this expecting a story about love. It is disturbing and I could not finish the book because of its content.

Amazing!. This book is riveting! As the title suggests..it twists you into gut wrenching agony and fear and turns you into a writhing mass of need due to its in depth story line. It blew me away!! I was so mesmerized I couldn't stop reading it, page after page of wants, needs, sexual exploration and fear that will take your breath away. This book has it all and you will be begging for more just like Nora bending to her dark angels demands. Amazing!!

Woah! What a page turner?!?. At first I was skeptical and not feeling this plot. As the story progressed, I can understand how some relationships can be toxic but, addictive.

Dark but Sensual. Yes, this book is dark. There is a lack of consent and some violence. However, it IS a love story. This reader, at least, accepted and forgave the hero for his actions because of the way he loved and protected the heroine. I found the love scenes to be sensual, and Zaires is a very good writer. This isn't just 'porn without plot' - there is a gripping story here. It's also worth noting that 1) even though this is a series, this book ends on a satisfying note, rather than an annoying cliffhanger; and 2) the book is well-edited. Mistake-filled books drive me crazy. This is a very solid erotica novel, well-worth the read!

Fantastic story... Dark twisted but once you start feeling the connection it turns hot as hell. This is a reread for me and I enjoyed it as much as the first time.

SO ADDICTING. I love this book so much I’m obsessed!

Okay. It was often disturbing at times and had weird unrealistic elements to it. This might sound stupid but on the island the main character talks about how she can run a 16:20 three mile, this would mean she would be running a 16:54 5k. At her age and with her training this is highly unlikely. With better terrain than sand, I might believe it, but in general it doesn't seem like a thing she would be able to do with the lack of training she has had. This just annoys me because it shows that the author obviously didn't do very much research about specific elements of racing or running. I get it that it's a fictional book,but still if she wants the audience to be drawn into the story and then falters on something like that what else could she have messed up on?

Such love. I really loved this book. The characters are some of my favorite. Poor Jake!! I was so happy with how the book ended. I got this book free with hopes that I would leave a review!!! I hope to continue with the next book.

Amazing page turner and addictive. This book was the best book I've read in years. It is not your typical dominant love story. It was refreshing to have a different storyline. Be prepared to put work aside this series is addictive and you will not want to put any of the books down.

Wow. Great book this is the third time I’m reading it. And i still can’t put it down!!

Loved it!!!!. I loved this book couldn't put it down. When Nora sees Julian for the first time it's at a night clube and she feels frightened. While Nora is on a date with Jake the boy she really likes she is kidnapped, and when she wakes up she realises that it's Julian who has taken her. At the beginning she is scared and angry at him, but as time has goes by she can't be with out him. One night Nora gets sick so Julian has to fly her to the nearest hospital and after being there for a while the Dr. says it's ok to go home. The next day when Julian is away Nora and Beth who was with her at the island are taken by Julian's enemy and if he wants Nora back he has to give him what he wants. When Julian tries to get her back there's a huge explosion and Nora is the only surviver. When she's back home with her parents trying to move forward it doesn't feel the same and she misses Julian. While living in her own apartment, one night she is dreaming of Julian and how she misses him and when she opens her eyes she can't believe what she is seeing in front of her.

Not my normal type of book, but I loved it. I'm not sure I would normally have picked up a book with this description if I'd just seen it sitting on a shelf somewhere, but I only discovered this author a few weeks ago, and I'm totally hooked on her writing, so I figured I'd give this one a chance—I can always put it down if it isn't my thing, right? I didn't put it down.... Actually, I don't think I put it down for more than half an hour until I finished it. (Warning: every one of her books that I've read is hell on my productivity levels....) As always, she makes me care about the characters, and the sex scenes are great. (I wasn't sure I'd enjoy the types of sex scenes in this series, but she did a great job making me see how someone COULD actually enjoy that type of sex....) The relationships feel very real, and I love how she unfolds the story a bit at a time. Couldn't wait to start the next book—literally couldn't wait: I downloaded and started it immediately, and made myself stop to come write this review while I could still remember the first book well enough to write about it. Off to keep reading now....

Amazing!. I feel this book is extremely underrated and more people need to know about this. I love Julian and Nora story. Yes it's dark but it's everything you'll look for in books. This series is one of my all time favorites.

Twist Me. Troubling yet thrilling love story!!!!

Riveting. This is the story of Julien and Nora. A love story? Not in the typical sense. This not a fluffy story. It is written from the perspective of a young woman who has been kidnapped by a monster. She is held captive for 15 months by a man that she both fears and is attracted to. I loved the story and I'm looking forward to its continuation. I've read the Krinar series...I don't think that Julien is as redeeming as Korum. He kidnapped Nora because he wanted her. She had no contact with anyone from the outside world. I really didn't know how the author was going to turn the story so that I would ultimately root for them to be together...but she did. This isn't a story for everyone...even if you like the Krinar series...this is grittier, darker and explicit. Well worth the read.

Breathtaking. Generally speaking, I don’t read a lot but I got so caught in the novel that I read the entire book in two days. I absolutely loved Julian and Nora’s relationship and can’t wait to read the following two in the series. Definitely would recommend.

Just Wow. I started reading a sample of Twist Me to see if it was worth it and after 4 days I have purchased and read all three books in this series. I was completely captivated and obsessed with Julian and Nora's story spending 6+ hours a day reading what happened next. It's exciting and addictive, from moments that terrify you to ones that makes you jealous. It's a twisted love story that shouldn't make sense but at the same time you wish you had something even slightly like it. If you have an inner dark side this is definitely a series for you. I enjoyed every minute reading these books and can't wait to read the all over again.

Intense!. A dramatic story about an evil guy that kidnaps a girl to make her his pet. As she gets to know him he sees he is not all bad, and whether she loves him or hates him, sparks fly!

Wow, where is this book going ?. Not your usual sappy romance...no this is different. In you face brutal and confronting, yet strangely romantic and human. I couldn't put this book down...where was this going? Well by sticking with it, I can't wait to read the next 2 books. Thank you for something different and erotic.
