Quick, mindless read!. Hi there - I anxiously waited for this installment of the Blueberry Springs series as I was a big fan of the prior two! While I'm generally not a fan of 'chick lit' or 'romance' I was promptly sucked into this series with the first installment as I am often drawn to small town life-settings. While Oram is consistent and maintains great continuity from one installment to the next, and the book did hold my attention, it was highly predictable as it was much like its predecessors. Probably I'll continue reading from this author as I do get into them and keep turning the pages, done before I know it. Anything that can at least do that is a great distraction from real life or a great way to spend time. I am honestly not sure if I liked it less than the other two in the series or if it simply was more predictable because I've come to like this author and subsequently know what to expect from her. I do hope she surprises me and I will keep reading - thus giving her the chance to. I do not mean to be harsh, only honest so I would like to say that I find nearly everything I read predictable - it is an infuriating thing about me that is not the fault of every writer, hollywood director, etc. in existence! Personally I did take note of some of her choice of wording, particularly in the 'girl talk' parts; perhaps in her circles they do talk like this - with a bit of reserve despite trying to sound dirty? I'd have been more blunt myself, but that is not always a desirable characteristic! Guess I'm just sharing what little bit I would change if given the chance. Ms. Oram produced another solid read, maintaining continuity which not enough people bother with, while helping us to get to know another character better in the small town of Blueberry Springs. I do hope to see more in this series.

Great addition to a wonderful series. Rum and Raindrops is book 3 in the Blueberry Springs series. This is a fun story and a great addition to the Blueberry Springs series. I loved Jen and Rob. I'm looking forward to see what Jean Oram writes next about this fun town full of characters.

Jen and Rob meet when he comes to Blueberry Springs to investigate an accidental fire which she may have set but what happens next in this cute, quick read will fill you with laughs, misunderstandings, lots of sparks, tension and hopefully finding their HEA!!

Terrible. I didn’t expect much but this book is worse than most with one cliche after another. Don’t waste your time

Conflict of Interest Romance. Jen’s fight or flight response is well honed towards flight and has been since she was sixteen. When she becomes the primary suspect in a forest fire she wants to run again but resists temptation. Her life is further complicated by falling for the fire investigator and having her past come back to haunt her. A well written small town romance.

Rum and Raindrops. I love Blueberry Springs, it is filled with wonderful characters. Jen and Rob's story is sweet, fun and full of misadventures. Jen is actually quite accident prone for a nature guide. It is good that she faces the people from her past and is able to move on to her future. I look forward to the rest of the Blueberry Springs series.

Run and raindrops. What a fabulous young woman Jen is . I like her plucky character and love her sense of humour . Very enjoyable and down right funny .
