This Book Changed My Life. David Allen has truly changed the way I look at all of the things that come my way. This book has helped me create a second brain that has allowed me to handle EVERYTHING in my life with ease and calmness. I am truly grateful for this book and material and really hope everyone reads through it at least once.

The theory is great. The theory is great but the book is more relevant for the 1990s than today. Someone should rewrite the book translating the theory into practical application using modern tools.

Great Book!. Learn to take advantage of time! And staying organize with your daily task! The 2min rule has become part of my daily life norm. This book is a must read if your trying to better manage your life or business! I myself am a California sweet Potatoe farmer and it helped me.

Great Strategy and Tactics. Read the original and am trying to apply it so the revision will help me pick up a few new tips. One problem with the iBook...the footnotes are small (like size 2 font) and off the top of the page...they're basically useless since one cannot read them easily. Issue a revision/update with modern footnoting!

Terrific methodology, even if the book itself is hard to get through. I love the GTD methodology and highly recommend it to anyone and everyone, for use in both personal and professional environments. But boy, this book is loooong. I feel like 70% of the book is only about convincing the reader why GTD is so great, and only 30% is an actual guide to the concepts. Unless you’re a fast reader, I would recommend people just read an online summary of GTD and then read the full book later, rather than wait to finish the book before implementing the GTD system in your life. (Or you could check out the book “Getting Things Done for Teens”, which I’ve heard is significantly less dense and more practical, regardless of the reader’s age.)

Highly Valuable, Important Advice. I agree with other reviews that a fair amount of the book is painfully repetitive, but in the end, the repetition helps hammer home the basic elements of this valuable approach to life management. I do believe that implementing these suggestions will lead to a more effective and meaningful life.

One of the best books!. This book is a must read along with 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. If you only read two books on this subject those are the two. I have read hundreds of books on personal development and leadership and this is one of the best. I have read it several times and I recommend you do the same.

Not revolutionary. His methods seem sound, but inefficient to me.

Slow burn 🙄. For a book on productivity, it’s a very slow burn. It goes on, and on, and on, and on... and it doesn’t seem to ever get to the action

Please fix the footnotes. Removing a star until the footnotes have been fixed. It's been plenty of time to get this thing done...

I’m Excited for the Journey. I read this book over 3 days, and applied everything in it to creating my own system. I don’t know where it will lead but I am tremendously optimistic. Definitely worth a read; its filled with quite simple, but eye opening ideas.

Getting organized. David Allen has written a comprehensive book on making those decisions that need to be made and asking the right questions to get it done. I am so glad I came across his book. I am now looking forward to getting organized and completing those tasks that never seem to get done.

Life changing. GTD is instrumental in learning how to manage life and be present. Love it!

This book will change your life. I wish I could of found this book when it was originally published. I started implementing the GTD methodology as I was reading and was simply amazed at the results. My only criticism of the book is that there seems to be a lot of wasted time "convincing me" why it works. I was sold right away, just tell me what to do! A little hard to follow for someone with ADD. But very worth it to get through.

the best!. Excellent book! In terms of personal and work management it is the best guide. This is the type of book to buy and read many times, always colleting somethig useful insight.
