Hmm 🤔. This was a good book but, it is a lie . Roller derby is fun and awesome and nobody cry's on the first day also boys are allowed on teams. Also you get to pick when you want to jam so her feelings would not get hurt .

aWEsoMe. I love graphic novels, and this one is just beautiful! Only some downfalls, like the name with usage of the word “ass”. Not the greatest, especially in a CHILDREN book.. Otherwise, it was really good! :D

Awesome. This is an awesome book! It is my fave book in da 🌍. U should definitly read this is if u like books about friendship, hard times, drama, and more importantly.... Rrrrrroller derby! I dont play derby, but I do like to skate! This is about 12 year old Astrid-and the summer that she never expected to ever happen. I suggest read it is my fave book. Also, the author plays derby too! Her derby name is Winnie The Pow. Lol. It says this in back of book. Definitly read.

A Really Awesome Book!. I think the book was great for kids Astrid's age. It shows the true struggles between friends in a mostly-realistic way, instead of most stories where the friends never even argue. And the theme of perseverance is really great towards kids that age. I think anyone who liked Smile, Sisters, Drama or any of Raina Telgemeier's books!
