Good story. Good story that turns into a page turner. Far from a literary masterpiece but interesting enough to keep reading and to enjoy. Good guys versus bad guys with some twists to keep it from being obvious. The story has heart and I believe the series has a future.

Thread of Hope. Well written story of what a parent with a missing child thinks, feels and lives with every day. His only goal is to continue his search. Along the way he helps others find their missing children. I really enjoyed this realistic story--looking for more in the series.

A great read!. This is not a basic detective novel. You know - the kind that follow the same formula, and seem so predictable. This book is a good day's read. I enjoyed it so much, I'll go on to read another book by the author.

Loved it.. Great read, interesting characters, clean language, no raunchy sex. Really just a good plausible mystery with wonderful editing.

Too bad. He’s a good writer. Too bad he has to alienate Christians by using our Savior as a worthless exclamation that was totally unnecessary and unfortunate. I won’t be reading anything else of his and it really is a pity. I don’t understand why writers alienate readers like that. I would have probably have bought all his books but I cannot in good conscious do so.

Excellent story. Terrible editing. It’s difficult to rate this book because the story is excellent and the characters are superbly fleshed out. Seriously, some of the most well-developed characters I’ve come across in a while; their emotions are very believable. However, the editing is terrible. Words are missing and misspelled, punctuation is missing, and there are small detail inconsistencies across the series. All of which distracts from the intensity of the story. Overall, I’d recommend it. (Though I definitely could’ve done without all the swearing.) Just a note if things like that really bug you.

Thread of Hope. Truly a gut-wrenching story with a tiny sliver of HOPE. Keep you guessing.

I liked it!. I can usually figure out the mystery in most books but this one got me. Bravo Jeff! I liked this book, kept me interested. Guess I have to keep reading his other books to find out about some of the characters!! I would have given the book 5 stars but I wasn't a believer in the joes super karate kid qualities. That was a bit over the top for me. Not believable for me. Jeff's writing of Joes meltdown out front of his old home was perfection. I actually could feel his sorrow. Like I said, I enjoyed this book and give it a thumbs up

Great writing. Great story.. Read it through in one sitting. That says a lot. Nice character development. Great cast of characters. Great story with red herrings and surprise ending. Captures emotions superbly, the kind that are so deep and painful people find it hard, if not impossible, to talk about. Respectful in sparing readers from unnecessary foul language and other writing tricks to make up for lack of tension and good storyline. Looking forward to reading more by this author.
