A short story about Sicarius and Amaranthe. I love the Emperor's Edge series and these two main characters. After finally gaining pardons, Amaranthe and Sicarius have left the rest of the team and are taking a little holiday in Rias' submarine. Holidays, merriment and gift giving are a new experience for Sicarius but to please Amaranthe he is determined to try and relax and appear to enjoy himself.

Fantastic Book. I really loved this book. It was so good and i would recommend it to anybody.

Sicarius has a Personality. After reading all the previous books and short stories of The Emperors Edge series I have watched as Sicarius the “human” slowly emerged. If Amaranthe has a gift it is her ability to draw people out and for them to see who they really are. I haven’t read Republic yet but I hope that maybe we will see Sicarius learn he is more than an assassin.
