Pretty good. I thought it ended rather abruptly. But I definitely recommend reading it. My favorite part was the grandma Po Po’s shenanigans. Characters were well described & I’d like to know more.

Raining Men & Corpses. She is definitely an accident waiting to happen, but she comes out smelling like a rose!!! What is going to happen with her and Mathew??? I sure hope it works out for both of them. Can't wait to read the next book.

Raining Men and corpses. Full of more twists than untangeling curley hair. Think Murder She Wrote meets Stephanie Plum's bad luck for getting into trouble. Sex without details and blody violence are off screen, but talked about. Good beginning to a series, but readers may want to take notes to follow all the action.

Boring.... I’m 1/4 into the book and it’s like dragging its feet to get to anything exciting. It’s kind of boring and not sure if I want to continue. The characters are very 2D and background stories seem to pop out of no where. Very slow read.

Entertaining easy read. Enjoyable characters and believable situations. Kept my interest throughout the book to the last chapter.

Great Grad Student Mystery. After reading the third entry in the Raina Sun amateur sleuth series, I decided to reread the first and second books! The first novel was just as enjoyable as on its first reading! This series has unique characters; especially enjoyable are the antics of Raina’s elderly grandmother- she’s a very wily gal, and her senior citizen friends are always ready to jump into a situation if called! Fun all around’.

Raining Men and. Corpses. Entertaining “humerous female sleuth” which had me guessing until the last pages! Liked the cast of characters who reminded me of the ones in the Janet Evanovich series! Want to read more of Anne R Tan!

Cute. Main character is sassy, easy read:)

Easy reading. Good, clean language, no explicit sex and still good.Just sayin’. One thing I did not like was the configuration of some of the paragraphs that had me confused as to who was saying what. I read at least one book a week so I do not think it was me. That was bothersome but I still enjoyed the story and the characters.

Rainy. It’s a good book, it’s just a little to much description of every little thing for a cozy mystery. I did get a chuckle here & there & I’ll probably read another one soon. 😊

Fun first book in. Series. Love the characters. Can't wait to see what mischief Po Po gets into, and where Raina and Matthew are headed.

Uninteresting. While I’m sure it would appeal to some, I found this book hard to read - the characters were flat, and left me with no interest to continue reading past half way. I really wanted to like this book, loved the idea but it didn’t feel polished.

Raining men and corpses. I found this story easy to follow and a bit unusual. The mystery took a fairly typical path, but it was interesting and realistic. The main character had a number of issues of her own that needed to be worked out. Maybe the next story in the series will develop her problems more.
