Superb!. If you like action, this great series will not let you down. It’s so good they made a 47 part TV movie. But this is much better. Cornwell’s research and imagination are impeccable. Enjoy every last page.

I love the historical aspects of the time and place, but it is the richness of the characters the depth and soul of each brought to life with such gifted words.
