Liar. While the Ghost Bird Series with Sang and the gang are my all time favorites this series is quickly becoming my favorite to. It's more mature witch makes it better in some ways. Liar continues with Kayli and the boys trying to figure out why Kayli's brother Wil ran away. Meanwhile Kayli has doubts about wether or not she can trust the boys, but still finds herself falling for them adn must face the struggle of liking more than one boy. Liar is full of action, adventure, and plenty of romance that will make you swoon. Can't wait for the next one to come out in December and for House of Korba to come out in October. Keep up the good work C.L. Stone.

Not like the Ghost series. This series is tacky and the heroine is annoying. She is always getting into trouble. The Ghost Bird series is way better. Also, the next book is trying to make you believe she can date all of them, including two gay guys and it's all going to be fine. I call bs on this.

Hard to read. Why is the main character so naive and just keep switching what she believes based on the same guys that keep lying to her. Sounds like to me she needs to stop kissing every boy and focus on herself. Really annoying how she just keeps running away everytime she gets new intel. And why is it so horrible that the group of guys have files on her and her brother. Who cares.

Seems a little chaotic and disorganized. I like the focus of Ghostbird books but the Scarab Beetle books seem to lack the same heart.

Love it:). Loved it! Not sure I can wait til December for Fake:( love how theres more interaction between Kayli and the guys!! Need more!

Good book, but.... I honestly did really enjoy this book, it was entertaining and just a fun read. However, I didn't like how easily Kaylie just went from one of the guys to the next during the book. I wish the author would have just settled on one or maybe at most two main love interests. But, other than that, the book was great, I found it to be kind of a quick read, and most of it, despite the seriousness of the situations was light hearted and easy to enjoy.

Entertaining. Fun to read. A good mix of adventure, humor and something like romance(s). I like the complexity of the characters and the relationships between them. The plot is a little haphazard at times and far from believable, but a fun, light read. After reading the first two, I realized that the earlier series was 7 books long. For that reason, I've not read the other series and I'm not sure this series is going to captivate me for that long, so I hope it wraps up in book 3.

Little thief. How can you not love this book it draws you in from the very beginning. The romance deepens the mysteries continue. But all we really want to know at the end is what's going on with Corey. Another great book and now we await the next book!

Love it!!!. I love both series and I love how in this series, the guys from the ghost bird series are also included. C.L. Stone is such an amazing writer and I can't wait until the next book of both series comes out :D

The best so far.... Out of both series this book has to be the best so far! Quirky new characters; interesting, developed plot and; bambi doesn't let the boys use her or walk over her like Sang, she seems to handle them better or interact with them better. Definitely liking this series more! However, warning to author: this whole thing you have going with one girl in love with several boys who all love her back is starting to get weird and may lose readers soon, such as myself. Also could you please learn when to use who/that/which in a sentence - drives me insane!

The love all & all love one. I'm personally disagreeing with the comment regarding this love thing is weird and she must choose... But this reader has her own opinion which is ok. But here is mine ;) To be honest, to me, it is a quite refreshing love dynamic to read about. Many stories are just about one person finding the right person, choosing between the two people etc... But love ... I believe, has no limits. I see it quite beautiful when the group is able to work this out together. Thank you, for being unique with your writing - and for this reason, I am now a fan of your stories. (Bought all the Ghost Bird & Beetle books and desperately waiting for more yet to come! ) Looking forward to read more of your books and most likely rereading them many times :)
