A must read. Zoe York is one of my favorite authors. She writes with a passion that reflects in the finished novel. Love In A Snow Storm did not disappoint. So happy Dani and Jake were able to have their love story without so much drama. Love this series.

Love in a storm. Wow loved it. It should of melted all the snow around that house lol. Love books like this childhood friends turning into lovers. Even with an age gap. Because age is just a number. Even with being the second book you can still read it out of place without knowing of the others (books). Will be looking forward to reading more of Zoe's books.

Dani and Jake. At first I thought it was a bit much with rabbit sex, then things evened out and it quickly became the sweetest love story. I think all women would love a Jake in their lives!! Wonderful story and perfect ending.

Love and Secrets. Jake Foster had had it BAD for Dani Minelli for years. But she’s the baby sister—the only sister—of the Minelli brothers and he didn’t have a death wish. Now she’s all grown and single and he’s done waiting. He’s going after the woman he wants. Dani has never seen Jake as another older brother. Quite the contrary. But ever since the one little slip up years ago, he’s never shown any interest. Until he suddenly does. She wants him badly, but she doesn’t want any one to know about them until she’s sure they’re really going somewhere past hot sex . Will what they have survive the doubts and insecurities they both have? Will Jake survive the Minelli brothers when they find out about them? It’s a fun read to find out.

So happy for Dani and Jake. I loved the second book in the Pine Harbour series, Love in a Snow Storm. The heroine and hero, Dani and Jake have, ironically, what I consider a mature love. Ironic because what has held them back all these years was Dani's young age. You see them fighting what they feel for each other at the beginning of the book, which reflects what they have both been going through for years, fighting their feelings for each other. While they are struggling with what they feel for the other, neither knows the other also has feelings. I think I was most struck by how they handled their first major fight. Jake leaves his house after thehy fight - albeit not without a comment about how he couldn't stay where he could smell her. He barely gets down the street before he realizes that's not the right way to handle the fight, and heads back home. Dani knows she can't just storm out after they fight, so she hunkers down until Jake returns to discuss what their issues are. So, each of them maturely realizes that for this to work, they have to stay and fight for it, even if it means fighting for each other. That's much more mature than I often see in couples who are older and have been together longer. I even liked how the author handles even the potential wrinkle in Dani and Jake's relationship, which I won't disclose here. Dani and Jake keep the lines of communication open, appear to discuss what they are feeling openly, and keep no secrets between themselves or others (except of course, the fact that they are dating and in love). In the Pine Harbour series, the author really creates a town where I feel like I know the residents. I would love to date a Foster or a Minelli man. She has created a group of strong, alpha men who live and love fully and show amazing sensitivity to the women in their lives, even when they are being a bit boorish. And I love how the author gives us a teaser about the next great relationship in Pine Harbor at the very end of the book - makes me want to head back to Pine Harbor as soon as possible!

Easy to read. I enjoyed reading this book. Growing up in a small town, it was easy to relate to the characters. I would recommend this book and series!

Fantastic story!!!. Jake Foster has been in love with Dani Minelli since she was 17 and he was 25. Now they're 25 and 33 and both Jake and Dani are tired of waiting until she's old enough. What happens when a woman he'd slept with in the past, comes back into his life with a surprise? After waiting so long to be with Jake, will Dani be able to handle this surprise? I love a good contemporary romance. This story is complete with a quickly written past and a fabulous present with many happy and some sad moments. Jake is a sexy, serious, brooder that is completely honorable and loves Dani like crazy. How sweet is it that he built his own house with his future bride in mind? He's a very swoon worthy man and Dani is a very lucky woman. Stories like this one make me wish for longer books. This awesome author has many more brothers to write about and I can't wait to read about them. Received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Love in a Snow Storm. Oh this was a wonderful story. It was so sad,wonderful joyful, and and crazy mixed up how two people can love each other for so long through the years and finally found each other. Yes we had all kinds of things happening to these people during the year.

Love in a snow storm. this is a sweet small town romance. Jake and Dani have been in love with each other for years they just have never admitted it to anyone. Jake is Dani's big brother's best friend and he will not do anything that might upset his friend like date his sister, but love will not be denied and eventually Dani and Jake just have to be together. There are a few obstacles for them to overcome but they eventually get their happy ending.

Her characters are flawed and so loveable, that you can't wait to follow them through the pages, caught up in their journey? Excellent. I have long felt that Zoe York is the best writer of contemporary romances in Canada. This book continues the trend; Jake and Dani are real & relatable characters and there is nothing strained or forced in their quest for the HEA. Nowadays when the news is so very dark and dreary there is nothing like a book to pull you away from the world and into a bit of fantasy; “Love in a Snow Storm” is a perfect escape.
