So disappointed. There was the potential for a very good story here. In the end I felt like I was reading something written by a 16 year old girl, and not a very creative one. The characters were stale and one dimensional. I couldn't even finish.

Let me be the one. This book was good, for sure one which once started I could not put down. There were numerous times in the book however where the author seemed to be just checking off a checklist of items. These areas lacked in emotion and and were stunted in there ability to draw in the reader. I personally would have preferred to see the author jump time with the scene and then have the more important parts noted as recollections of the characters in the story. I did appreciate the tame ness of the rename scenes as some authors take them too far. This author allowed much of the romance to speak for itself and focused in the feeling and emotions of the characters.

Phenomenal Series. This is one of the most phenomenal series I’ve read over the last six years! Throughout this amazing journey I’ve laughed, cried, hated, loved, despised.... and the feeling and emotions just went on and on. It was a rollercoaster of emotion that all ended with wantin more. Every book left me wanting more. Thank you Lily for the amazin journey. Can’t wait to read more!

Let Me Be The One. I didn’t like this book. It took me forever to get it read. It was too much like childish drama you get in high school. It was geared for people my age. The characters were to immature for me.

Let me be the one to tell you.... This was a good read. I read a lot it kept my interest the entire book from start to finish. The characters were very likable and it was well written. I would definitely recommend this book.

Love. I love this book so much. I originally bought it because it was free and now I have purchased 3 of the others in this series. The way the characters react and look out for each other is amazing. 100% recommend. You will not be disappointed.

Only in fantasy land.... And by that I mean the story line. I love HEAs as much as the next romantic but I couldn't swallow the notion that not just one but BOTH sets of parents - Tom's and Darcy's - were so understanding and accepting of the situation. Tom's parents, maybe. It's not like they have a choice...and only after a lot of yelling and screaming. But for Darcy's parents to be sooo okay with the situation - seriously?! I don't think so! Dear New Adults - Just to be clear, if you have a baby while you're still a baby yourself, YOUR PARENTS WILL NOT, REPEAT NOT, react the same way the parents in this story reacted. Tom and Darcy live in make-believe land where poopy diapers can be made to look like cup cakes and smell like cotton candy. You, on the other hand, live in very-real land, where poopy diapers really mean poop in a diaper and really smell like, well, crap.

Waste of time. Not worth it

Amazing love story. I really enjoyed reading this book, the love story is just amazing and describing what true love is really about. Can't wait to read more of this author.

Let Me be the One. I had a huge internal debate about giving this story a 5 or 4 rating. I loved the story even though I got terribly frustrated with Tom. The reason I finally settled on the 4 was that I felt it dragged out a bit too long. It was sweet, sad, sexy, and frustrating at the same time.

Loved it. I was pleasantly surprised by this book. The story moved along nicely and never got boring. The ending was done well. It wrapped everything up nicely so you werent left wondering. I absolutely loved it!

FIVE STAR WRITING for "Let Me Be The One". You find yourself on an emotional roller coaster- the plot: lovingly woven into one with twists and turns, understanding the turmoil of relationships. You literally want to turn to the last page only to realize, if you do, you will miss every drama filled moment in between. "Let Me Be The One" is a romantic page-turner readers can't put down, a combination of true love, scary moments of loss and learning from real life mistakes, make this book A MUST READ... LET THIS BOOK BE THE ONE FOR YOU to fall in love with, with how beautifully and intricately detailed the characters are written, their lives unfold, and how the author makes your heart melt: tears of sadness, joy and triumph... A must add to any reader's library.

Not impressed. This book could have been great. I was so excited to read what seemed like a complicated and engaging story about an abusive relationship and the redemption of new love. Too bad this book is unbelievably shallow and the characters have no depth. The story is stilted and Tom and Darcy seem to have no lives outside obsessing over each other. Disappointing.

Way better than the average romance.. Loved the characters, loved the smart dialogue, liked the true to life struggles and drama that the lead characters went through to reach their happy ending. Loved the supporting cast of characters too. Book 2 in the series focuses on the main character’s older brother and that one wrecked me. This is a great series.

A start to a great series. I just reread this new edition and love the addition of the series prequel. This is a great series. Each story builds on the one before it but they’re totally stand alone. Very, very good.

Not recommended. Honestly is a boring book. It doesn't have any exciting moments. It's a short book but it feels that take forever to read (finished in two days).

Meh. So I read the second book in this series and I really likes it so I thought I would enjoy this one but I really hated Darcy. She was always in everyone’s business thinking she knows best and was super judgmental. She kept pressuring everyone to do things they weren’t comfortable with. It was hard to get into the story because I hated the main character so much :/

Triangle? Not really. I was a little disappointed while I loved other Lily Foster novels. The beginning of the book with Nick's story really hooked me. I had the impression that it would be a novel with "three visions", that we could see redemption and reconstruction for Nick . In the end, nothing. First half, Tom is mature in the relationship but not Darcy. She does not speak for herself, does not find itself, does not communicate. Second half is the opposite. Mature Tom becomes so guilty that he makes rash decisions, fails to communicate, sees no future, no options. I also found some characters useless. Although sad, Jenna and Dan's story seemed pointless to me and only brought more heaviness.
