The Rumor. A great book for summer, leaves you wanting more, but glad it is done at the same time!! It makes Nantucket sound like a wonderful but awful place all wrapped into one. The author is courageous and wish her well!!
Page-turner, as usual, from a great author. Again, another bestseller. I could not put this book down. The characters are unforgettable, and I love when other characters from Elin's previous books show up. I look forward to her "Winter's Tale" soon to come out later this year.
The Rumor. Blah. So unrealistic and all characters unlikable. The worst part was the idiotic dialogue had by teenagers. Ugh.

The Rumor. Great book, simplistic style, intriguing characters and gossip mongers galore. Good reminder that people are so limited when left to their own imagination. Let the dogs bark but the caravan moves on.
Another great gossipy ride from Elin. Fun read, great characters, and visuals of Nantucket landscape, lifestyle and snobbery. Really enjoyable and well paced!

The Rumor. I have loved this author's books and was excited to see a new one. I am sorry to say that it was extremely disappointing. The plot was weak and unbelievable and the characters were not fully developed in a way that you cared about their outcome. The ending was a disappointment as well. Save your money and hope Elin Hildeebrand's next book is better!
