12 days of Christmas. Excellent book. I got so immersed in the characters, I hated for the story to end.

Twelve Days. Beautifully written story about how bad things can happen to good people.

Uplifting and heartwarming. This beautifully written romance chronicles 12 days before Christmas in the lives of Rachel and Sam McRae of Baxter, Ohio. It begins when a social worker talks them into temporarily fostering 3 abandoned children. But the McRaes are tragically childless after 12 years of marriage, wracked with grief and guilt, and their marriage is on the rocks. Day by day during the town's annual holiday countdown to Christmas celebration, Rachel and Sam struggle to care for the children, who push all the buttons of their past hurts. There is a HEA, but it's bittersweet, and the path to get there is twisted. The book is emotionally rich, and evokes both romance and a Dickensian Christmas experience. Read it in December.

Loved it. Loved this book so much it even made me cry in parts. This author did a fantastic job. Can’t wait to read more.

A 2 starred cliffhanger. So before the story is told, the blurb is very obvious Where the story will end. Also before the book starts we are told that it ends 2/3 the way through, so I ask who in their right mind would even bother reading this!

Twelve Days. This was the best book I have read in quite some time. It was with some embarrassment that I was reading it in public places while waiting and I kept tearing up and crying. I would like to believe that there are people just like the McRaes in this world. It restores my faith in humanity.

The mccraes. What a great book. You have the knack of getting your readers to think about life and how we handle similar events. Wonderful ending. Following these families will be enjoyable.
