Such a great book. Getting to know chiquis through the reality shows and her book I find myself so intrigued by what she always has to offer to her fans. I never thought I would be a person who would be so into someone I never met, but never say never. It took me 30 yrs to find someone that I truly admired. There are a lot of haters but misery loves company. I love how chiquis turns the negativity from yapping Yolanda's around her into something positive. Great Book. Once I started reading this book I couldn’t stop. This book answered all the questions I had about the situation between her and her dad and her and her beloved mother Jenni. I would highly recommend reading this book. Chiquis answers all the rumors and discusses her life in great detail. I felt so much emotion reading this book. Thank you so much.

Awesome book & could feel the REAL TRUTH!. I really enjoyed reading Chiquis book. As you are reading you can feel that she was VERY SINCERE! I didn't believe the rumors of her but I must say its sad of Jenni reactions and saw things that NEVER EXISTED! But I do agree that Jenni is guiding Chiquis career and opening new paths! Loved it!. I was hooked from beginning to end! So inspirational! Loved her way of winning me over with her honesty. She couldn't have said anything better. She gave me this mentality of "Wow so much strength, if she can do it, I can do it" Me and my mother both read this book and Jenni's book and we'd sit there and just talk and talk about both; a little memory I'll hold with me. Thank you Chiquis for being so transparent.

GreAt book. I loved the book and I truly believe everything CHIQUIS said. It's sad to know that nobody in her family had the balls to stand up for her or to try to convince her mom that she was wrong, I feel like Rosie and a few others in the family enjoyed to see them apart bc they were so close. I might be wrong but that's how I feel!! However the book was incredible, I actually read it in 3 days..... I loved it!!

Heartbreaking. I caught myself crying. I've always had a lot of respect for this girl, and after reading this book my instincts about her have been confirmed. She's a product of dysfunction and abuse. Both her mother and father scarred her in different ways. Yet she managed to forgive the unforgivable and pull forward for the sake of her brothers and sisters. And even though as an atheist, I don't identify with her strong religious beliefs, I can understand how her convictions may have gotten her through the darkest of times. My hat goes off to her and I wish her nothing but the best.

Inspirational a must Read. I bought this book and is less than 30 hrs I read from beginning to end. Mostly because I was curious to find out, like the rest of the world, the truth of the fall out between Jenni and Chiquis. I however fell in love with her story of ups and downs. Chiquis was an opened book in this memoir of her past life. I was left amazed how rumors gossip and jealousy can tear a family apart. It was very inspirational the way she has forgiveness for the abuses and unfairness life has offered her. Be strong and hope you can continue to find peace when it comes to your mom, and immediate family.

Forgiveness. It's definitely a must read. It wasn't easy being the daughter of Jenni Rivera. Chiquis definitely helped her mother by raising the children during her fame. I truly feel that jenni had deep issues with trust that she never overcame. After reading this book, I understand how difficult it can be to be a Rivera. Great job Chiquis! Keep smiling!!

By far best book ive read!!. Im not one to read about peoples lives. But im a big fan of jenni and chiquis. So there for i had to read. I love how detailed it is about there life. Its good to know that they started from the bottom just like ordinary people. Working hard for what they have. Sad ending but overall GREAT book!!!! Good job
