Ryan and Holly. Sweet, sweet story. Holly was such a breath of fresh air for Ryan and all the stages of guilt and grief he was experiencing. I loved the book. Wish it would’ve kept going, I didn’t want it to end.

Enjoyed This Romance!. Love on a Spring Morning is a really good, touching romance. It is the story of a couple of have reasons to close themselves off from everyone, yet find themselves caring deeply for one another. They have to slowly learn to trust one another and to take time to see if they are ready for a relationship together. The two main characters are very likable, and the storyline is a good one. Holly is a movie star without many people who truly know her. It isn't easy for her to trust, and when she meets Ryan, she finds someone who has an even more difficult trust issue. Ryan lost his wife a few months prior, and is still reeling, while trying to carry on the best he can for his three young children. When Ryan and Holly meet, they each find someone they can talk with easily, and soon, feelings are developing that neither feel ready for. As they slowly forge their way through a friendship which may be developing into something more, Ryan learns something that destroys his trust in Holly. Holly is devastated and doesn't know if Ryan will ever forgive her. This was a really good story, and I found it quick and easy to read. It was a tender and sweet romance, but had good chemistry between the main characters too. I thought it was a great addition to the series.

Love on a Spring Morning. What a love story! Not only between Holly and Ryan but just think and realize the family members have so much love with their interactions among the family members. Yes I love Zoe York’s writing. She makes you laugh and cry.

another best seller!. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. This is one book in a series by Zoe York that will melt your heart. Ryan is a single father, a widower, who never expected to have is sweet home town and quiet life interrupted by a movie production. Holly is an actress who doesn't expect to fall in love with a single father of two wonderful kids. They made each other laugh, cry, and fall in love with each other without realizing that they were doing it. Holly somehow was able to get Ryan to come out of his depressing stage and laugh again. I absolutely love this series and can't wait to read more. Zoe, you have gone and done it again and created another best seller. Thank you!

All I can say is WOW!. I wasn't sure what to expect when I picked up this book - I was excited to read it after enjoying the first two books in Pine Harbor. Enjoy doesn't begin to explain the emotions I feel upon finishing this book. Any reader who read Love in a Small Town or Love in a Snow Storm knows that Ryan lost his wife and is raising his kids alone; so you expect some level of grief as part of the story. I was blown away with the way in which the author depicts Ryan mourning the loss of his wife. I've read several stories recently depicting widowers but this was an unbelievably raw look at moving forward after the loss of a spouse. Ryan's commitment to his children is admirable and he has upended his life to help them transition to life without their mother. Ryan can experience the entire spectrum of grief feelings in a single moment, yet his feelings of guilt run deep. His guilt transcends his wife's death, as his guilt goes back to guilt in how he dealt with her when she was alive, and feelings of inadequacy even prior to her death. Ryan may be grieving and gruff with just about anyone he interacts with, but I don't believe he's wallowing and he works every day to try and move forward and raise his kids. In typical "alpha male" form, he doesn't WANT to discuss his feelings but realizes how important it is to help he and his children move forward. Holly is a complex character and is not depicted as a typical Hollywood personality, although that's what those who know her on the surface believe, including Ryan. It's only natural that when she's given an opportunity to shed the Holllywood persona that she does, and it sets the stage for a great conflict between her and Ryan. I felt her fears about revealing her true - or surface - self to Ryan were real and Ryan's reactions when he finds out were real, and raw. The author really nailed the depiction of Ryan's anger and frustration and anxiety around Holly's real (or is it her fake) persona and when things get worse, I also felt the author's portrayal of Ryan's reaction was incredibly realistic. Ryan is quick to anger but almost a quick to forgive and apologize, which I felt was a realistic depiction of a man coming out of the fog of grief. I found myself crying right along with Holly and Ryan through much of this book - both happy tears and sad tears. That is the sign of a truely emotional book if the author can get the reader to feel emotions aloong with the characters and Ms. York does that in spades. The sex scenes in this book are really quite descriptive, perhaps moreso than previous books in the Pine Harbor series, but I felt that they were critical to the development of the storyline and Ryan's emerging from grief and beginning to live again. As a whole, this book does an amazing job of depicting a man struggling to raise his children amidst the grief and guilt of losing his wife, and a woman who is trying to figure out who she is and where she really fits in her own life and together they each help the other come out of the other end of their journey. Really pulls on the heartstrings!. This is a beautiful love story. I'm so happy for Ryan. His struggle is difficult, the grief and guilt are overwhelming and he's had to come to some very difficult realizations. He's not too big on talking about his problems. Ryan's children are so precious. You could literally feel the grief throughout the story. So heartbreaking! This author did an amazing job and making the reader feel the struggle every day for these beautiful children. This book is amazingly well-written and another fabulous addition to the Pine Harbour series. I'm so excited to read Zander's story in the next book. I just can't express how much I love this book. I'm sure you'll love it just as much. Received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Holly is a successful actress who feels a connection and attraction to a recently widowed, frazzled, exhausted father of three.

Ryan and Holly. I enjoyed reading Ryan's story, it was so nice for him to find some happiness after all the tragedy. There is a lot of tension in this book, lots of sexual tension but there are also a few laughs and just a few tears. The kids are great and add life to Ryan and Maya is just too cute for words. This is a great instalment in the Pine Harbour series.

When movie star Hope (Holly) moves into his in-laws house that they are renting to a movie production company, Ryan wants nothing to do with her. Ryan is reeling from the death of his wife in awful circumstances and is emotionally shut off. Holly is the star but doesn’t put on any airs and graces and he often sees her running at night. These nightly runs prompt him to talk to her on the veranda and slowly sparks fly. But is this enough for him to overcome what has happened in the past? Love must find a way.
