Fast paced thrilling. I didn’t realize it was over until it was. It was a fast paced action packed magical story about a girl who kinda sort of knows who she is in terms of how she exudes confidence. Despite her cynicism and the tragedy that surrounded her, there’s hope throughout that she’d open herself up and allow someone else in. From a technical standpoint, Terah is a MASTER at delivering action scenes and tapping into what it says about Sarah. There’s a lingering mystery that isn’t solved and still you feel like you got enough story to keep you full. Loved this. I already purchased book two and have a fan cast in my head lol.

Blades of illusion. A very satisfying read. The hero is a girl/women with a personality that is muti-layered and capable of youthful cruelty and appealing innocence. Her most capable friend becomes a star in his own tight. Thank you. A new fan.

Recommend if you don’t mind paying. If you don’t want to read it all, scroll to the end. First of all, the book kept me reading and captivated me. I loved the book. The only reason that I gave the book 4 stars is not really ABOUT the book. It is because the second book has to be bought. They get you interested in the characters, the plot and then try and make you pay… I am disappointed by this because the first book was amazing and I want to read on but I can’t. So, overall, ⚠️DON’T GET THIS BOOK IF YOU DON’T WANT TO/ CAN’T PAY⚠️ ⚠️If you want to/can, absolutely get this book :) ⚠️ Thanks for reading!

Delightful but…. Such a delightful read from beginning to end. Just wish it had been longer and had less typos and grammatical errors.

Cultural Appropriation AGAIN. This writer is confused in so many ways. When I first picked up the book, I put up with the insulting description of the character's "dusk" skin tone. But the more I read the more I was disappointed. How can you steal from ancient cultures in your stories and put a western label on it? Disgusting.

Get ready for a wild ride!. Twists and turns drama and romance, true battlefield graphics! This series is a stunner and amazing! Got hooked from the moment I began reading!

Needed more time to cook.. It’s not a bad story it’s just that in some parts the mc came off more like a teenager then a well trained warrior. And her friend came a cross more like a teacher then a skilled Adventure.

Not bad. Interesting plot but not executed/written well at all. Probably will not be reading the rest of the series because the writing makes me cringe.
