Jaw-droppingI finished this book in a day. i mean 8 hours of nonstop reading. it is so good. i love the characters because this book shows a different side to classic characters with broken backgrounds. yes, the classic rape victim and a loved hockey player with an abusive famous dad. but the author really showcases this in a way in which the characters don’t mope over this one aspect of their life the entire book. while it gains the readers sympathy and evokes the emotions of the reader, the author is able to show the confident sides of the characters and the growth they already achieved. “babe” and “baby” dont sound that appealing to me but when garret says it, i really cant complain. this novel doesnt get boring at all during the 680 pages and if i could erase all memory of reading this book just to reread it, i would..Score: 5/5

Pleasantly surprisedI must say I was hesitant to touch this book because it talks abt sexual abuse & that’s a trigger for me but Elle does a brilliant job of touching on the topic without making Hannah a victim. I really enjoyed the fact that she was portrayed as strong & a survivor. As for the romance omg LOVE!. I am in love with Garret his character was shocking & so lovable. I read the Briar U series before this so I must say right now my favorite couple has been Jake & Brenna & these 2 might be my number 2. Jury is still out but I definitely recommend this book. Best. Book. Ever.Everyone needs to read this book. It is so adorable and funny and I’m head over heels in love with Garrett Graham. I love the way it’s written and how it’s cliche but not at the same time. I also really liked how Hannah already has closure about the fact that she was raped (not a spoiler it’s in the first chapter). I’m always a fan of the books where women are learning to come to terms with a tragedy like that, and it was refreshing to see something different in the mix. I read the rest of the series as soon as I finished this. 4 books in 3 days. I seriously recommend this entire series (specifically this book it’s my favorite out of the four) and if you’re missing them like I was then read the Briar U series too because seriously Elle Kennedy is gods gift to girls everywhere..Score: 5/5
