Oh how the past can come back in amazing ways 😊. Amazing book! I lived the dynamic of them bring friends as kids growing up to getting reacquainted with each other as adults. The secondary characters definitely helped make this book even better! Sara and Mike are amazing, but add in Christie, Greg, and all those other characters and it makes it all the better. I can't wait to read more about some of the other characters, and more about Sara and Mike also! Great read all around!!!

Great book. Some suspenseful points and some predictable points. Hard to put it down once I got started and I hope we get more! I'm hooked! Yet another amazing book by K.F. Breene!

Don't bother. This is one of the worst books I've read in quite awhile. The heroine was inconsistently developed, and there were just too many unbelievable plot points and story arcs. I won't read another book by this author and I'm disappointed I actually spent money on this. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

Part traditional romance, all pure awesomeness. ~contains some spoilers~ Where to begin? I have spent the entire day reading this book. I read as I made dinner (sorry, Family, for the overcooked yet cold dinner), but had to take a break during the kids’ bath as water and e-readers don’t mix well. Now I feel a bit drunk as I try to make sense of the world I actually live in. To be honest, the beginning didn’t thrill me, with Sara still wallowing in the sorrow of being dumped five months ago by her boyfriend of 14 years. It was five months ago. Shouldn’t she have moved on to the “wants to drive over him with her car, repeatedly” stage by now? The guy was a total loser: drug addict, gambling addict, cheater, unemployed, and general deadbeat. But then I realized that if you stuck with someone through all of that crap and then they had the nerve to dump you, it would be pretty devastating. So I kept reading… And here I am, fourteen hours later. Mike and Sara…oh! I just love them. Surviving Love is part traditional romance, and then takes a sharp turn into pure awesomeness. There’s fun friendships, steamy sex, a crazy survival trip into the wilderness, and of course, a happily-ever-after. I had kind of sworn off of romances, preferring the wildness of paranormal or the intrigue of mysteries, but KF Breene writes such fun books that I read anything she writes, regardless of genre. This book did not disappoint at all. Her quirkiness and silliness add an interesting and fun level to any type of story, and I can’t get enough of her books. Even the epilogue - a feature I generally scowl at - was perfect. Another fantastic read by the amazing KF Breene. If you haven’t read any of her books, I highly, HIGHLY recommend them. In any genre.

Surviving Love. I loved this book. The personality and interaction between Sara and Mikey is wonderful. Made me laugh, cry, and not put it down. The growth they went through to finally be together is amazing. I absolutely recommend reading this book.

Different plot, great characters. Highly recommend!. This is a bit of a different storyline than I'm used to with KF Breene (not surprising, she loves to keep it interesting!) and I found it just as addicting and well written as her others. I love the premise, and as always, her characters are intriguing and well developed. My one warning: don't start this late at night... You won get to bed anywhere near the time you meant to! ;)

Love wins!!. A great story of how old love finds each other and the battle it takes to win "the one" back. You can't help but fall in love with Mikey who's love and loyalty aren't just the only great qualities of the male lead. And then of course Sara proves that no matter what we've been through with past loves and the pain it caused, you can overcome it and find true happiness. Breene never lets me down. Give all her stuff a read, it's worth it!

A Sweet Love Story. You know, the great thing about KFB is that she can switch it up, and still manage to write a good book. This is a really sweet story about childhood best friends finding each other again, and a heartbroken woman trying to find herself again. Great characters and a great story.

Glad it was free. Lots of potential for a great story but I agree with one of the other reviewers, inconsistently developed characters. Need more back story on both. Also the dialogue was stilted. Both of these people are 30+ years old and yet still talked like 13 year olds. Douche? Really? Over and over again? Be a little more creative next time, Willow. Not interested enough to read Christies story.

Get to work.... Maybe I am too harsh, but this Sara needs to get to work and stop texting... Already weak and predictable story, plus an airhead silly unprofessional girl for heroine. Could not finish.

Friend zone. Have you ever had a best friend move away and years later when you reconnect it’s like you start back up right where you left off. Only it’s a bit different when your kid and then adults later. This is a wonderful love story of two kids now grown reconnecting and changing from friend to more. This is Sara’s and Mikey’s story and how after a horrible breakup for Sara and her ex-fiance she moves and goes to work at a Dudes ranch. And it just happens that her old friend Mikey is works there. Mikey has to try and get out of the friend zone Sara has put him into. And there are several twists and troubles along the way. Well written and very entertaining to read.

Great Book!. I absolutely loved this book! I love a good love story, and this one fits the bill. I generally love everything that Breene writes, but this one is in my favorite genre so it is ranking as one of my favorites over all.

Loved it. a beautifully written romance about first love being lost and found again. Sarah and Mike are characters you will fall in love with, and you'll be rooting for them to make it against the obstacles they face.

Surviving love. Brilliant book, I love the characters and their story is perfect. Have re-read this and conquering love with Christie and Greg's story. Hope there will be more books about the ranch.
