Dare to put this one down!. Yummy! Scott Dare was the right amount alpha and loving. Whew this book brought sweat to my brow. I am uber excited to see what's next in this series. Read them all!!

My favorite in the Dare to Love series. I started Dare To Hold this morning, and I couldn't put it down. Scott Dare (yum) is a hot, broody alpha hero, who has been screwed over in love in the past. Meg is a sweet heroine, who is trying to find her independent streak after life handed her a harsh reality. The chemistry between these two is hot, intense, and instant. It was awesome to see Meg and Scott grow, not only relationship wise, but to find themselves also. Love the glimpses we get to catch of characters from the previous Dare series, and how they make Meg feel welcomed. Filled with romance, a hot guy, a sweet girl, and a bit of suspense, this book has it all. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a hot, sexy romance read

Dare to Hold Onto This Series. **I received an ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review** Dare to Hold is Book 6 in the Dare to Love Series by Carly Phillips. In this story we deal with the attraction and chemistry between Scott Dare, a Miami policeman and Meg Thompson, a kindergarten teacher. Meg is pregnant by her ex-boyfriend, the ex who caused her to be hospitalized in the previous book, Dare to Touch. It is while she is hospitalized that she meets Scott. Although Scott has been burned by his ex-wife, there is something about Meg that draws him to her. Meg is trying to turn over a new leaf to become more independent and not rely on men or get involved with another. Meg’s girlfriends think that she should have one last fling before giving it all up for the baby. When Scott hears that, he is determined to be the one she has the fling with. The chemistry and attraction between Scott and Meg drives this relationship and their dependency on one another. Scott wants to protect Meg from her ex however; this conflicts with her desire to be independent, not to rely on anyone for herself and her baby. I enjoyed this story between Scott and Meg. It has the feel of the previous Dare to Love books, but it is a standalone story. I loved the way Ms. Phillips showed the growth of the relationship between these two characters as well as how they learn to trust each other and themselves. I highly recommend this book to all readers and I cannot wait for the next story in this series.

Another Dare Hit!. Dare to Hold by Carly Phillips is the latest story in the Dare family saga. Scott Dare met Meg Thompson in a hospital room, but there was an immediate attraction between them. Scott knew Meg was pregnant by her ex, but he went for it anyways. Meg had a history of picking the wrong men, so when she found out she was pregnant she was determined to do it on her own. Both Meg and Scott were strong willed people, but neither personality overwhelmed the other. I loved them as a couple and think that Carly couldn't have written two more perfect for each other characters. One of my favorite lines was when Riley (from Dare to Love) said that her husband was Scott times fifty on steroids and later adjusted that statement down to twenty five. I found myself smiling throughout the story and falling in love with Scott myself. My only complaint was Scott supposedly pulled away from Meg, but I didn't really feel that as a reader. In some ways it was good because I didn't want him to, but in others I didn't feel it was as strongly written as it could have been. Regardless of that one tiny complaint, I absolutely loved this book and give it 5 stars. Can't wait for more in the Dare series, and the teaser about Avery's story just made me want Dare to Rock even more. I recommend this book to all contemporary romance readers. These Dare men seem to keep getting better and better!. We first met Meg Thompson in Dare to Touch. After her unstable ex, Mike, pushed her and she landed in the hospital and almost lost her baby, Meg meets Scott Dare when he's the policeman who takes her statement. Immediately these two are drawn to each other. Meg is determined to stand on her own two feet after a long string of unhealthy attachments to men, including Scott's sister Olivia's husband, Dylan. Scott on the other hand is determined to protect and take care of Meg based on his nurturing ways. Scott comes to Meg's rescue one night at a bar and agrees to take her home. She tells him her friends just wanted her to find a one night stand to enjoy before her pregnancy starts showing and of course Scott is more than happy to offer his services! What neither of them ever thought was how explosive they would be together. Afterwards, Scott is determined to be with Meg for more than just one night. A week later Scott shows up at Meg's place just after Mike ignores the restraining order Meg has against him. Of course Scott is in full protective mode. While Scott is protecting Meg, their feelings continue to grow until Scott reveals a big secret from his past. This causes Meg to withdraw. Meg and Scott both need to overcome damaging events from their pasts in order to move forward into a future together. The way these two interacted with each other was perfect. Scott could determine what things Meg needed emotionally or physically at just the right times and she did the same for him. Sexually they were explosive! Their happy ending was just wonderful and I can't wait to see more into their future.

Dare to Hold (Book 4). Awesome fun read. Love how Carly gets you hooked on the people in her stories. You feel like they are part of your surrounding. That you are that fly on the wall. I truly enjoy the page turning moments. Look forward to reading the other Dare Books and more to come. Thanks for the enjoyment your books truly create. Brenda

Hot. Carly Phillips keeps out doing herself. Meg and Scott are hot. They fell hard and fast for each other. This book has love, sex, angst. Kits keeps you guessing. The great thing about the dare to love series is you don't have to read them all but why wouldn't you, just to keep up with what is going on with all the other characters.

Dare to Hold (Dare Series). Loved all of the "Dare Series" keeps you reading till the end. Best part so far they keep showing up in the next book. Just love love love them all and look forward to Avery's story can't wait.

Their story continues after her hospital stay and after Scott helps her with the restraining order against her baby's daddy. She turned down all Scott's advances, even to be just her friend. How would she be able to stay "just friends" with this sexy man when all she wants to be is independent? When a night out with her friends goes wrong, Scott is there to rescue her. When he finds out that her one night out was supposed to be her last chance to have a one night stand before her pregnant belly pops, he offers up himself for the night. Will one night be enough? Now she's being harassed by her ex and you know how protective those Dare men can be. How will she ever refuse this sexy man anything he wants? Another awesome addition to the amazing Dare to Love series. Scott Dare is another sexy, take charge, definitely dream inducing and fantasy inspiring Dare man. Meg wants to be a strong, self-sufficient mother that doesn't need to lean on anyone for help. I loved watching this strong, alpha man gentle himself for the wary kindergarten teacher. It's always a great time reading a Carly Phillips book! Looking forward to the next one. Received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Really enjoyed!!. I enjoyed this read. I liked the characters- a kindergarten teacher and a former cop. It was easy to believe that these characters were real people. If you are looking for a nice easy read, I would encourage this book!!!

INCREDIBLE, HELL YES. this was my first dare book and i am now devastated that it's over. i am so invested in scott and megs relationship that i don't know if i can even start the other books but this was great and i would recommend it to anyone. Carly you're immensely talented!!
