What is a fan pod!?!. I still don't get it. What is it exactly? Usually I like for stories to dive in quickly, but I actually found this one to start way too soon. There was a lot of way too soon in this book, but it was alright in the interesting department. Seemed more like a young romance novel. Not a lot of meat to the story. Spoilers ****** I had Nox figured out pretty quickly. What I don't get is why Lad wouldn't have mentioned who he was. Also his like for her so quickly according to him. According to his time line they didn't really put in much time together before he claimed his feelings become real....

Hidden Deep. I would have never chose this type of writing in the past. I must say thanks to Book Bud & suggesting it for free, I found a new author! Amy's writing is easy to read with descriptions that you can see & hear, imagining each character. Hard to put down... I look forward to reading the other books in her Trilogy You have a new fan! Amazed. Words can't even begin to describe how I feel about this book. I love to read, I would usually read about 2-3 books a month but for the past 6ish months I haven't been able to get into any book I've picked up. But this book...wow. Not even halfway through the first chapter and I was hooked. I read it in one sitting; I just couldn't put it down. This isn't just some predictable fairytale type book. No, this is something truly unique and I absolutely love it.

Good book,disappointed. So mad this series is no longer available on IBooks. It was a good book I enjoyed the characters for the most part. But finished the first book not knowing the rest of the series isn’t available on IBooks any longer.

Hidden Deep Book 1. Loved the story and the characters with all their imperfections

Worth your download. This was a very smooth, comfortable read from start to finish. Very easy to get lost in this for a while. The subtle hints scattered quietly through the pages leave you eager to confirm what you think you know. I hopped up and exclaimed "I knew it!!" on several occasions. I grabbed this copy from First in A Series freebies and now I'm gonna buy the rest. You will, too.

Hidden Deep by Amy Patrick. An epic fantasy must read! Loved the plot and the tender moments each character shared as family, friends, lovers and enemies. Definitely didn't want this book to end...just happy its a series.

Awesome!. Good start to a great series!

Hidden depths. Amy Patrick has a smooth writing style that draws you into her characters lives. You smile, you cry, you wonder what will happen next, and you cheer them on while they're doing it. Add to that the exotic magic of Elven people, and you find yourself wishing you lived near a forest that just happen to include a certain tree.

Interesting twist to myths. Recommend: Yes I enjoyed the romance and fantasy with this book; it was sweet and had a hint of mystery.

Better than Twilight. I agree that this book was better than Twilight. Very well written for a teen novel. Nice to have a strong female protagonist who can think for herself!

Seriously good read. Loved the story and can't wait to read the next installment!

Great read!. I like to check out the free books all the time, and this was one of the best ones yet. I don't know what it is about a forbidden love that is so fascinating, but this book is captivating. Most of the plot twists are seen from a mile away, but it was still enjoyable to watch it play out. Now I just need to get the other 3 books! BRAVO!

Book 1. A young lady enthralled by two young men finds herself in a world we only read about in story books. Ryann and her mom live with Grandma Neena out in the country with a forest that holds special meaning for her family. She's pulled in two different directions by these boys and learns about her family's past in the process. While trying to brainstorm ways of making money to pay a debt to the IRS, thanks to her father, she discovers more than she ever imagined. This is a beautifully told young adult romance mixed with a bit of fairy dust. Their love is very innocent yet so strongly connected you can feel the pull. It takes a creative story teller to come up with the descriptions and history in this story. Patrick provides us with a fantastic story of love, forgiveness and spontaneity. Ryann needs to make decisions that will effect her life and others forever but can she make the sacrifices necessary? There are three books in the series, it would appear you need to read each one in order. My copy was given through Netgalley for an honest review.

Overwhelmed. The author has spun a world of fantasy, laced with reality. I have always been interested in the fae, and this book does not disappoint. I had the fortune of coming across this title through friends on Facebook, and I am not regretting the moment I clicked on the link. This book has left me overwhelmed and wanting more.

Meh. This book wasn't good, but it wasn't exactly bad either. It was very easy to predict the plot twists and the characters weren't really glamourous (haha) either. They were stereotypical and kind of boring to read about. As for the plot, I've read this kind of story a few times, and Hidden Deep has a couple of differences, but nothing big that pops out as super cool or original. I did enjoy learning about the Elves - how they spoke and how they live - but again, I've heard about these kinds of Elves before. Tolkien's Elves were better (though when are they not better?). I wouldn't recommend this book unless you're super into romance (unlike me), or if you've never really read a book like this (unlike me), because otherwise it's just not very interesting. However, Hidden Deep didn't make me mad or irritated, either, so that's why I'm giving it 3 stars.

So many emotions. I loved the mystery of finding out who lad was then finding out he was an elf made me so disappointed and I stopped reading it for a while then I decided to keep reading and finding out grandma was one of them and just so happened to be lads fathers ex fiancé MIND BLOWN then finding out Nox was one of them too oh my gosh! And don’t even get me started on the emotions I felt reading this book I have never felt so many emotions watching a movie. I felt sad, happy, scared, like my heart was going to explode then happy again then I wanted to cry from emotion. Oh my goodness I love this book so got dang much! If I ruined it for you I am sorry but it’s a really wonderful book.

Can't wait to read the rest of the trilogy!. This was such an amazing book! It was so thrilling that it had me wanting more! There were times where I just had to stop and take a breather from all the things happening all at once.. Just amazing, definitely recommend!

Hidden Deep. When I first started reading this I thought I might not like the story. But WOW… it got real good. I am a older woman & don’t really like love stories. Read this book!. I cannot recommend this book enough! It is an amazing series. It has just the right amount of romance and fantasy so that it doesn't get overly boring or sappy. The only thing this book lacks is a fandom.

One of the best books ever. According to my librarians I'm a major book snob so I have a hard time finding good books and while I'm only 13 I can actually say I've read about 2000 books in my life and this is in my top ten because it just pulls you into the story and even though it's fiction it has really in sight full things about love like "love is some times about letting go" the ending isn't something you'll be able to guess either

More!. I enjoyed every page of this book, I only wish there were more of it! Can’t wait to pick up the others in the series. This is one of the rare fae tales that I can stomach. Lots of romance and intrigue, without all the glitter and sparkly wings of some fae novels.

Great book but...... It’s amazing I love it 🥰 But I wouldn’t recommend for peeps younger than 13 ‘cuz there’s some “stuff” ( not bad or anything just meh kind of stuff) I love the way the author plays it out!! I’m exited to read the next one! I stayed up till 5 in the morning reading it! It addictive!!

Hit a book wall. For the longest time I just haven’t been able to read, nothing kept my attention and then I saw this book for free being advertised and I figured what the hell I have nothing to lose. BEST choice ever! I read this in two days and I fell in love with it and usually I’m all for the bad boys but Lad... my man Lad he has my heart since he appeared. :)

Too much on page romance.. Mostly good. Until the Epilogue did not follow or match the last chapter. There were definitely issues. Too much on page romance. Not appropriate for younger teens.

I LOVED THIS!. I love elements of foreshadowing, and that was what really had me motivated to read this from very early on. I’m not much of a reader, but this made me feel some strong feelings. I’m definitely finishing the series now. I’m invested!

Read it now!!!!. I loved this book and I’m 30! I stayed up all night until I finished it. It is so creative and compelling! The author does a fantastic job of balancing fantasy and reality. I loved that it was set in Mississippi where I used to live so it also held some familiarity and nostalgia for me. I can’t wait to devour ever book in the series! Read it now!

Hidden trilogy. If you want to fall in love, feel loss, experience magic and be completely engrossed in a story you don't want to put down this is a series for you. You will only be sad that you couldn't stop yourself from reading the whole series no matter what else you should be doing. Please read and enjoy.

Ahhhhmazing!. Literally just ran across the authors page today , skimmed the comments , read the sample , then immediately downloaded and read the entire first book! I could not stop! Much to the annoyance of my husband and children but once I find a great book , I cannot just stop reading. I read while changing diapers , while cooking (do not attempt could be super bad for your health) and cried into my meatball muffins at the heart wrenching parts. I'm totally ready to fight Ryann for Lad's love and cannot wait to read the next book! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! READ IT!

What a fun read!. I may be a grown woman, but I sure do love a good YA romance. This one has all the emotion, all the angst, all the drama, all the intrigue I need in a story without all the stuff I don’t like. Yay! The storyline has grabbed me and I plan on continuing on to find out how everything goes with this forbidden love and the other characters I’ve enjoyed meeting!

Hidden deep. I picked this book purely at random because it was Free! What a good choice. It was different, compelling and a truly good yarn. I am definitely going to get the rest in the series.

Hidden Deep. Absolutely amazing and addictive. This book pushed me to write my very first iBooks review because of its sheer audacity of reality being placed in fantasy. It rocked my imagination- and I have a very vivid one! It helped me to reaffirm my belief in childhood connections, soul mates and the sanctity of bonding with another soul. The descriptive and skilled writing led me to become addicted and purchase the other three books in the Hidden series. I literally can't wait for the next book due to be released May 2016! Kudos to the writer, you captured my imagination from start to finish, book to book.

Ryann meets a hot guy, Lad, in the woods near her Grandmother's house who turns out to be Prince of the Light Elves. The new hot guy at school, Nox, is also pursuing her, but he turned out to be Lad's competitive dark step brother. She thinks Lad, who is immortal, will be better off without her, so she pretends she prefers Nox. Turns out her grandmother is also full elf, and Ryann gets back together with Lad.
