This book is a beacon of light in my day.. Jenny Lawson – thank you for writing this honest and hilarious book. Some days, it was the only thing that made me smile. This book is great because, for me, it was an escape and a comfort. I look forward to more books :)

Excellent. Explains depression in many ways I've never thought of before, with humor. I suffer from major depression and appreciate what I learned and am able to take from this book.

Favorite Book Ever!. I love this even though at times it can be brutally truthful and sometimes inappropriate but otherwise a great book

Jenny Lawson is my spirit animal!. Such a good read, especially for anyone who struggles with anxiety or depression. Tip: do not read in public because you will be laughing out loud a lot.

Funny, dark, real. After the first few chapters, I resigned to the fact that I could not read this book in quiet, public places, because the bursts of laughter were so frequent. This is one of the funniest books I've ever read. It's also one of the most real books I've read. Dark and sad in some places, but so real. This is a great book for anyone with or without a mental illness. Those with will gain a new companion on their journeys. Those without are offered a glimpse into the struggles (and sometimes joys) people with mental illnesses face.

Brilliantly honest and brutally truthful.. From screaming AMEN!! to nodding my head in agreement to snorting laughter and shaking the bed while my husband was trying to sleep, this is the book that I want everyone who knows me to read so that they might understand me for 25 seconds without tuning me out because I obviously have no idea of what I am saying or they want me to be serious for a moment without realizing that if I did, I would plunge into the darkness and be afraid that I may never regain my footing.

Furiously Happy. This is the first book I've ever read that has changed my life. I started on a journey about a year ago to find myself and this book came along to assure me I and indeed not alone.

FANTASTIC!. I have never giggled aloud at a book before this and boy, did I giggle! Jenny Lawson is so frank, smart, and hysterically funny. A must read for the sane, the insane, and everyone between.

Over dramatized and not funny. I can feel her spaz on each page. I would describe this book as a lady spazzing while doing ordinary things. Spazzing at home. Spazzing at the doctors. Spazzing in crowds. List goes on.

This lady is a quack. But she helps us people with mental health issues to find the humor and good side of it. Some days are better than others

This book understands me. But you might not understand this book, so definitely download a sample before buying the whole thing. Jenny blew it out of the park again. The only book I've ever been able to completely lose myself in, I was genuinely surprised when there were no pages left! If you have ever struggled with mental illness, especially anxiety, I definitely recommend.

Love!!!. This book made me laugh, cry and laugh again! This book is fantastic and witty. Helps one to know you are not the only one alone and feeling crazy. This book made me laugh so hard, that my husband would look at me like I was crazy. I told him you have to read this I just cannot explain it. Hate it when people try to hard. If I wanted to read a dumb book with people trying to hard to make it "funny" but clearly they don't know how to make things sound more fun then they already look

We are all on the spectrum of mental illness, everyone.. The 2am Cat Rodeo had me in tears, literally laughing so hard, (on the airplane), shoulders shaking, covering my mouth, the whole bit. I had to stop and set the iPad down but still couldn't control my laughter. The passenger next to me probably thought: "great, 4hr flight and we aren't off the ground and this crazy clown is having a mental breakdown, middle seats should be outlawed." I understand more about mental illness now, at times a gift and other times a curse. Acurate and worth your time to read especially during the parts when you think ugh, this chick is exhausting. -Carson Austin.

Unapologetically Hilarious!. There are moments you don’t know whether you should cringe or laughing that alone seems this a book worth reading! I laughed out loud many times throughout the book!

So funny!. Jenny shares so many funny stories in this book! Even as someone who doesn't suffer with depression or anxiety, it's still a good read. It also helped me understand the inner battles that some people are suffering from.
