Well written. This story was well written and cute/lightheaded for the most part, but also tackled the heavy topic of addiction well. However, sometimes it felt like Grace’s character lacked depth and, personally, the plot was a bit predictable. Either way I enjoyed the story of Logan and Grace, it was cute, but it wasn’t comparable to the first story in the series.

Amazing book. I not only love Logan and Graces love story, but also how the author includes addiction because I can relate to Logan because I went through this with my mom. Loved the book. Cant wait for Deans story :)

Logan is 10/10 book boyfriend material. I laughed out loud SO often with this book. Logan is hilarious and I instantly loved him. 😂 Elle Kennedy hit it out of the park (sorry, still brushing up on my hockey lingo 🥴) once again. I read this in two days— pre-mom life I would’ve finished it in a day. Lol I would give 4.5 stars if I could though, because I felt like Grace’s character was too one-note for me. I just wanted more from her character. But I would absolutely recommend this book and the series as a whole!

So many emotions. This book was a rollercoaster of emotions. Elle keeps you guessing and no doubt makes each page leaving you wanting more. Great series.

Good and lots of sexual acts without as much SEX. Great read! Not as rauchy as some of her other books, but overall good. Loved the structure of the main characters, they seem real. Would of loved to read a bit more about Ramona’s fall from Grace (pun intended lol)

Enjoyed it but…. I liked this book and read it quickly, but I didn’t feel that connected to the characters the entire time. Neither character was super likable or well developed and the steamy scenes were equally random. The first book was better. I’m not planning to pick up #3!

Pretty Good, but slightly boring. I thought that the book was overall good and told well. The parts that I did not like were that it seemed there were a lot of plot holes that were not exactly filled and many different events occurred that did not really matter to the story. I thought Logan and grace were cute, but their relationship was not as fun to read as Garret and Hannah’s was. Overall a good book.

A great book 📖. Loved it, it is a great book Logan who didn’t have girlfriends but wanted what his best friend Garret and Hannah have. When one night he goes to look for a friend but is at the wrong place. he finds Grace who is a freshman and end up in her dorm. There’s chemistry, between Logan and Grace, Sadness for them both, and love and happiness.

It was an okay read. I love Logan, but Grace was bland and boring. The book was good overall, but it could’ve been better, Logan deserved better. I loved the Epilogue and to be able to read a little about Garret and Hannah.

Meh. I loved the first book, so I decided to read this one and was so disappointed. This story dragged way too much in the middle, so unnecessarily. The guy had no character, the girl was annoying. Nothing to like about them but the author writes so well.

Unexpectedly heartwarming. I love, a great romance novel, but too many or so predictable. This book was so refreshing. It was easy to fall in love with Grace and Johnny Aka Logan. Their story relationship didn’t feel rushed or fake, just two people figuring it out. Definitely a great read!

Love it. Honestly I love this book! I love the details and how we get to learn so much about both characters! I also love how it wasn’t just about their love story but how Logan’s future. It wasn’t as amazing as the first book “The Deal” but it was definitely a great book! I can’t wait to read the third!

Loved it. A nice quick read! I really love the pacing of this book. I physically felt the tension between these two lol ! The groveling is AHMAZING and perfectly executed!! Grace is a total babe and absolutely has this man on his knees. Logan is *chefs kiss* at taking care *wink wink* of our lovely Grace. It’s also nice to see characters from The Deal, especially the break through Logan has when he talks to Hannah. Also, the ending is satisfying! Overall pretty tame spice wise - but i enjoyed it! If you love a man that takes care of his partner 😉😉then read away.

i liked it.. didn’t love it as much as The Deal but loved Logan’s character. although Grace really bored me, her character wasn’t intriguing to me...kind of left me wanting more out their relationship.

Cute not great. I might be a little biased because The Deal is one of my go to books & I’m finally getting around to finishing the series buuuuuuut The Mistake didn’t quite hit the mark. It was cute & made me laugh a few times but I just:/// I did just buy book 3 so hopefully I’ll have a better report on that one

So adorable. Logan and graces story is so freaking cute. The amount of times my hand was over my mouth smiling and giggling because of how adorable they are was insane! I wish I had more of their story, literally loved every detail of their story, it was so cute!

mixed feelings. While it was cute and I love both of the characters, they were on a break from each other for half of the book- they were separated for longer than they were “together!!!”

Loved it. Could barley put it down long enough to sleep. Didn’t appreciate the Stars slander but I’ll let it slide just this once

Slow burner. I must say the reviews were right about this one it’s not my favorite but I did love the story in the end. The beginning was VERY slow & I felt like there was some things that were just thrown in there for fluff that served no real purpose. I would have loved more expansion on when he was trying to win her back rather than the Paris trip part. The sex scenes were very intense which was good & Graces was not boring despite what the reviews said. Onto Dean’s story, I must say I’m gonna go broke paying for all these books but I have not an ounce of regret. Good job Elle.

Another 6 out 5 stars. Funny, sexy (uniquely and not excessively), even emotional at a point or two—with an epilogue that satisfies this book as well as the book prior (The Deal). Highly recommend this read.

Pleasantly surprised!. I really did not expect much from this book, I’ve held off for a couple months from reading it because Logan just seemed like an “eh” character for me but wow- talk about character development. And the ending, nearly cried🙊 I enjoyed!

Another Book Finished In 48 Hours Or Less. Has similar elements to The Deal—male lead who experienced a difficult childhood (for different reasons) that he doesn’t want people to know about that continues to impact his life, who is seemingly as self aware as he is confident, and falls hard for a girl that flew under his radar at first— without feeling like a repeat of the same story with different names. The situation with Logan having feelings for Hannah in The Deal was resolved in this book in a way that felt very genuine. While the middle section (Summer Break) felt a bit drawn out and lackluster, it captured exactly how Logan felt about not only that Summer Break, but also what his life after graduation would be, so I understand why it was necessary. I liked that Grace’s personality didn’t change when she came back from Paris, she just became more confident learned how to stand her ground. I would definitely read the book again.

Underwhelming. Underwhelming is all I can really say about this. I think I just love The Deal too much..

Cute but not at good as the first one!. Garrett and Hannah seemed so cute that I had to keep reading. Although there were some really cute parts to this book, I feel like there was a long pause in it regarding the main characters and it made me impatient lol. I liked it but thought it got kind of predictable and I can tell Elle doesn’t like too much conflict in her books but I feel conflict is necessary to make the makeup scenes better. Good, but Garrett and Hannah’s story was perfect.

Sweet and charming. If you loved The Deal you will like this book. I love how this book reveals that love can just change you in an instant.

Its ok. The first half of the book was boring, I didn’t like the main characters. But the second half was really good.

Love me some hockey romance!. Love this series. Realistic relationship development, lots of “laugh-out-loud” moments from funny characters, plot lines that show the complexity of real life. Love it. Next please, number 3!

GREAT SEQUEL. These are great books and Im a little surprised and frankly disappointed people arent writing reviews - if you dont read these you'll mix out on some great characters, funny situations and generally a good read. Worth the time and money. The sequel has not lost any of the original story zing.

Logan & Grace. Loved how Grace really came into her own and went from an insecure freshman to a confident sophomore. I loved how Logan really worked to show her with his actions, as opposed to just words, how much he genuinely wanted to be with her. I wish that the epilogue had been longer because I feel like their story had a lot more to explore.
