I Lava this book. I first saw this story at the beginning of the Disney Pixar film Inside Out. I was so happy to see that it's an interactive singing book. I'm not a kid but I love the story and song. A wonderful story of true love. Clever lyrics too!

Lava. You might be wondering what the little episode of Lava is about? If you keep reading you will find out about the little episode Lava. First, A volcano sings a special song for another volcano Next, The Volcano's Lava starts to shrink Then, The volcano Starts to sink and drown In to the Ocean and another Volcano starts to rise up from the bottom of the Ocean and starts singing the other volcano's special song that the other volcano was singing. Finally, The volcano That sank into the Ocean Came rising out up from the bottom of the Ocean and they start singing the special song. THE END! The song was this I have a dream I hope will come true. I wish that the Earth, Sea, and the Sky up above-a will send me someone to LAVA!

Great lava story. A story of love sung from the heart. Makes for a great story. Can't wait for the video. I wish there were no breaks in the song between page turns. Other than that, this book was worth it.

Awesomeness!!. We took our son to see Inside Out and were pleasantly surprised to see this short film. We're from Hawaii, now living in Texas and and needless to say we are homesick and this just brought tears to our eyes and made us feel so much love for one another. Funny how something as silly as a short cartoon can make your eyes well, your heart grow ten times and make you remember home and remind you of that connection. Now we all say "I lava you!"

I "Lava" this book. It truly is a great book with a great toon to go with it. I saw inside out and was instantly in love with this short.

My lullaby. This is what I turn to at the end of the night. I read my kid a couple of stories from the bookshelf and finish with this gem.

Confused. Why is this a book?

Such a heartwarming tale. I took my son to see Inside Out yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to watch a lovely Pixar short about a lonely volcano looking for someone to 'lava'. I grew up in Hawaii and found the story and song to be quite authentic in Hawaiian style. Now my son and I are sharing the Lava book as we both love the story and song. We're now walking around the living room singing "I lava you". Good times!

Beautiful story!. I almost died watching this short before inside out!! Started off being the saddest thing next to the beginning of up and then ended well. Love this story.

Almost Perfect. The song pausing temporarily between pages is a bit distracting. If the song played without interruption and the pages turned to keep up it would be perfect.

Our current favourite bedtime book. It's from the upcoming Pixar short Lava and this book actually sings the words/lyrics. It's a touching story told over thousands of years. It's based on the island of Hawaii and uses traditional Hawaiian singers. I'm a big fan of somewhere over the rainbow/what a wonderful world and this song matches that feeling I get listening to that song. Love it :)
