Refreshing. This book refreshes my soul. Shonda Rhimes has such a unique voice. I had no idea she possessed such a talent. And it left me wanting more! Please, please write more, Ms. Rhimes!!

Amazing. This book is so awesome. I felt like the book was kinda about me. I actually sat down and did the exercises in the book and it opened my eyes. It helped me in so many ways. I’m no longer afraid of what ifs. I got out of situations where I was unhappy. I resolved and let go of issues from my past. I no longer settle for safe.

So much fun to read!!. When reading, I felt like I was having a conversation with Shonda. I love the humor, the truth of her life, and the happiness and love that jump off these pages. Smiles for Shonda!

Absolutely love this!!. This book was truly laugh out loud funny and comforting at the same time. You feel like you're sitting across from Shonda sipping on a tall Olivia Pope red wine glass chit chatting about her year of yes. This book was encouraging as much as inspiring especially as a new mom. Shonda keeps it real and normalizes what it means to be a successful working mother passionate about her career and children. She's frank. And it's so refreshing!! I highly recommend this book!! I've been telling all my girls about this one! You go Shonda!
