The #1 Bestselling series!

THE WEIGHT OF HONOR is book #3 in Morgan Rice’s bestselling epic fantasy series KINGS AND SORCERERS (which begins with RISE OF THE DRAGONS)!

In THE WEIGHT OF HONOR, Kyra finally meets her cryptic uncle, and is shocked to discover he is not the man she expected. She embarks on a period of training which will test her stamina and her frustration, as she soon encounters the limits of her power. Unable to summon her dragon, unable to search deep within, and feeling an urgency to help in her father’s wars, Kyra doubts if she will ever become the warrior she thought she was. And when she meets a mysterious boy, more powerful than her, deep in the forest, she wonders what her future really has in store for her.

Duncan must descend the peaks of Kos with his new army and, vastly outnumbered, launch a risky invasion on the capital. If he wins, waiting behind its ancient walls, he knows, will be the old king and his nest of nobles and aristocrats, all with their own agendas, all of them as quick to betray as they are to embrace. Unifying Escalon may, indeed, be harder than freeing it.

Alec, in Ur, must tap his unique skills in the forge to aid the resistance if they have any chance of defending against the looming Pandesian invasion. He is awestruck when he encounters Dierdre, the strongest girl he has ever meet. The time she has a chance to make a stand against Pandesia, and as she bravely faces off, she who wonders if her father and his men will have her back this time.

Merk finally enters the tower of Ur, and is stunned by what he discovers. Initiated into its strange codes and rules, he meets his fellow Watchers, the toughest warriors he has ever encountered, and he finds that earning their respect will not be easy. With an invasion looming, they must all prepare the tower; yet even all its secret passageways may not keep them safe from the betrayal lurking from within.

Vesuvius leads his Troll nation across a vulnerable Escalon, devastating the land, while Theos, enraged at what becomes of his son, is on a rampage himself, and will not stop until all of Escalon is aflame.

With its strong atmosphere and complex characters, THE WEIGHT OF HONOR is a sweeping saga of knights and warriors, of kings and lords, of honor and valor, of magic, destiny, monsters and dragons. It is a story of love and broken hearts, of deception, ambition and betrayal. It is fantasy at its finest, inviting us into a world that will live with us forever, one that will appeal to all ages and genders.

Book #4 in KINGS AND SORCERERS will be published soon.

“If you thought that there was no reason left for living after the end of the Sorcerer’s Ring series, you were wrong. Morgan Rice has come up with what promises to be another brilliant series, immersing us in a fantasy of trolls and dragons, of valor, honor, courage, magic and faith in your destiny. Morgan has managed again to produce a strong set of characters that make us cheer for them on every page.…Recommended for the permanent library of all readers that love a well-written fantasy.”
--Books and Movie Reviews, Roberto Mattos (regarding Rise of the Dragons)

“[The novel] succeeds—right from the start…. A superior fantasy…It begins, as it should, with one protagonist's struggles and moves neatly into a wider circle of knights, dragons, magic and monsters, and destiny.…All the trappings of high fantasy are here, from soldiers and battles to confrontations with self….A recommended winner for any who enjoy epic fantasy writing fueled by powerful, believable young adult protagonists.”
--Midwest Book Review, D. Donovan, eBook Reviewer (regarding Rise of the Dragons)

“A plot-driven novel that’s easy to read in a weekend…A good start to a promising series.”

How bad can it get Yoda?. The author continues with her goal of killing everyone off, for nothing other than moving the plot along. For only in great misery comes great strength, or some such balderdash Doesn’t explain the goals of the bad guys other than saying they want to kill everything. Even our Heroes are at their end at the concluding chapter of this book, being stabbed, betrayed, facing impossible odds, or otherwise driven to despair. Cliff hangers to the max...

Great read. Great story line. Lots of new plots unfolding into what could be a long series. Only bad part was I read it too fast and now have to wait for more! Lots of cliff hangers

Constructive Criticism. Your books are well written. The only problem I have is that every page, every chapter, is the same. The group or the person is always in great peril about to die and than Leo saves the day for Kyra, or in the case of her father he always finds a way through because of his amazing character or stroke of luck after stumbling into a worsening scenario. It's repetitive and it gets boring. It would be much better to introduce character building like there was in book 2 with Merk and the boys from the flames(that's how much I remember them) internal conflict with how kyra feels about the pan designs would do wonders to the plot elements, and if the pandesians have armies of slaves, what do they think of themselves? Also, you should add a little bit more about the trolls in future, in the event of a genius villain it greatly builds plot if you follow him and allude to different sets of plans that he could put under way to endanger the group.

Rise of the Valient. A very captivating book!

Where to start.... I loved the last two books but there are many points of views to keep up with, and they are just getting boring.

Great story but.... Why do the prices get higher for each book with less pages? 4.99 for 250 pages is just bull and overpriced. Stop being greedy and lower it to at least correspond to the number of pages. Like the book, hate the price.

Editor. The story is good. The plot is enthralling. But there are numerous mistakes, forgotten conjunctions, incorrect names, and contradictions. You need an editor. Period. You cannot write a great story by yourself, you need another pair of eyes to review your text before publishing your books. I would gladly pay more money for each book if the mistakes were fixed.

Good book, bad editing. I liked the book. Too many editor mistakes with wrong names being used.

Awesome continuation of the series. Another masterful addition to the Kings and Sorcerers series. As I was expecting a trilogy I was sweetly surprised to find a cliffhanger in each character's story to be concluded in book 4 or 5 or maybe even as far as 6. This was a quick read for me which I enjoyed over 2 days any time I could. The series it of upmost superiority and very entertaining with its battle scenes. Things that distinguishes this book though is the fact that the main trio; Merk, Alec, and Kyra are slowly having their individual stories intertwined indirectly and I am excited to see them together soon enough. Although this was a great read I should mention that the story does go quite quickly but only over the course of a few days, the story not accomplishing or progressing as much as the others in the series. Besides this Rice has made another amazing novel and I wish to see more!

Best book in the series so far. So this book had a lot of things that made it better than all of the other books. A example is that Morgan Rice corrected all of the things that made some of the story’s kind of bad. It also made me so sad that Kyra and her whole family except Aiden were all betrayed in a way. I think that things like that is what made me give this story a 5 star rating. The Weight of Honor got me reenergized for the series and it made me wonder the most out of the whole series so far “what will happen next?” So in my perspective it is a great book and you should read it :)

Engaging enough for me to finish the series, but….. Morgan Rice, listen to me, please, please, please, hire an editor.

The Weight of Honor. This tale keeps getting better and better! If only the small errors in grammar and wrong names didn’t pop up here and there. Don’t let them keep you from enjoying everything else about the adventure as it unfolds!

Interesting plot, slow pace, shallow characters. I read the first three and I won't be buying the rest only due to the shallow characters and the plot going from we can win anything no matter what to we are dumb and lose it all because reasons. I just skimmed the chapters in this book and I don't feel like I missed anything. The female lead is an idiot, there is living with honor and then there is being intelligent and strategic. This is too bad because I was hoping as the story progressed it would improve but it got worse.

Typos and boring chapter endings. So many typos! Could do with more original chapter endings, after all.. how many times can a chapter end the same way - kyra thinking she’s going to die, or Duncan thinking “this is the end” or Alec thinking “this is it”, or merk thinking “im dead now”....

Typos, typos, typos. Good book, but sooo many typos! Did this even go through an editor? Seems to be getting worse as the books go on, just finished this, the 3rd in the series and am debating on even continuing to the end

Weight of Honor book 3 in the King and Sorcerers. The third book of the series King and Sorcerers by Morgan rice is a roller coaster ride of intense emotion, alternating between dipping into the depths of despair and rising to ride on waves of elation. The individual evolution of the characters is genuine and believable. However the book ends at a point of such tragedy that one is almost afraid to read the next book but then simply cannot wait for it to alleviate the impending doom!! I have thoroughly enjoyed all the books in this series so far!!

Too many storylines. I liked the book but it had too many characters and storylines to follow.

Awesome book. Good book!!! Can’t wait to read what happens next!!!
