Loved it. Cannot wait for the next book

Love it, can't wait for the conclusion.. Richard is on his way to becoming one of the best. This was a great continuation of the previous books in the series. I'm looking forward to the final chapters. Well done.

Incredible. I don't know how this series hasn't received more attention. I've read science fiction for most of my life, including works from Isaac Asimov, L. Ron Hubbard, and Orson Scott Card. I would add this series to my favorites list alongside Foundation, Ender's Game, and Dune. The book is so hard to put down because the storytelling is fast paced, the characters are engaging, and the political controversies are believable. Can't wait for the epic conclusion!

This is miserable. I have to go to work tomorrow and couldn't put this book down. How this author keeps all the parallel events going on although separate, have symmetry. Can't wait to get to book 6. Now I have got to get some sleep

Phoenix Darkness. I was getting a little skittish towards the end. Shouldn’t have worried. Brilliant.

Just finished but a bit sad. This was as ever another great addition to the series. I have waited a very long time for this book. Which was reported to be the last book in the series. It isn't and there is another book after this one. I felt a bit cheated by the ending. I'm really hopeful the next book doesn't take as long as this one to arrive. As for the story and content, it really is excellent. But sadly doesn't complete the story.

Yeah yeeeaaahh. The series just keeps getting more intense! I'm loving it. The characters are still consistent and the trials they are going though are spiralling out of control. Its a great series one I am happy to follow and pay for.

Sadly disappointed. So you can skip 3-5 pages at a time quite often and miss absolutely NOTHING except characters that do nothing but feel sorry for themselves, complain about there lot in life, and basically whine that the universe is unfair it adds nothing to the story other then dragging it out and ruining the pace of the story I am very disappointed in this book I though perhaps by the 5th book the author would decide to actually get on with the story.
