But as her dresses begin to arouse competition and envy in town, causing old resentments to surface, it becomes clear that Tilly’s mind is set on a darker design: exacting revenge on those who wronged her, in the most spectacular fashion.

Just wonderful!. Such fun...this book has everything: interesting characters, twists and turns, fantasy and reality. Certainly worth reading.
The dressmaker. How ridiculously disappointing was this?!? I have no words to describe this book. Too many characters, it was impossible to keep up with the storyline. I read 75 pages until I couldn't take it anymore. I did read the last chapter and I see it was a wise choice to not finish this stupid book. It does have a nice cover.
A Morality Lesson .... Or, morale-less? That is the question. Fun finding out.
