Genesis by Andreas Christensen Book Summary

Accolades for Genesis:

"Mr. Christensen has done it again.....he's delivered a very good read"

"This book completes The Exodus Trilogy and does it a great fashion"

"I have been reading science fiction since the 1950's this rates with some of the best"

On Aurora, a people divided braces for the final confrontation.

Aurora, the final destination of the starship Exodus, has become the scene of a deadly struggle between opposing forces, ready to fight with any means available. The rebels have found a leader in former Harvard Professor Kenneth Taylor, who with the help of former scramjet pilot Tina Hammer, has vowed to fight the injustices of the past and regain lost liberties.

Governor George Havelar once had a plan for Aurora, but the rebels are now threatening its unraveling. As he rallies his forces to move against the rebels, events take a surprising turn, and he is forced to reconsider his options. Meanwhile, Thomas Dunn is fighting a guerrilla war in the hills and forests, and so far, the rebels have kept the enemy at bay. As winter draws to a close, an overwhelming force is coming north to end the war once and for all. But everything changes when the enemy's attack turns to frantic retreat.

Benjamin Waters, once a boy soldier caught up in the turmoil of rebellion, has found himself developing amazing abilities, but the ghosts of his past are slowly creeping up on him. Will he find redemption, or will he lose himself to the parasite infesting his very soul?

When Maria Solis is searching for a way to expand further north, she makes a discovery that changes everything. But little does she know that the answer to an even greater mystery, which has eluded sages and scientists for thousands of years, will soon be revealed.

It is time for the explosive conclusion to the saga that began with the appearance of a rogue planet threatening humanity's existence. Will this be the final chapter of humans on Aurora, or a new beginning?

"Genesis was a completely satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. Alas, it left me wanting more of Aurora"

"I only give 5 stars to books that are truly transformational, this series comes close"

A good and hopeful yarn.. Well worth the read time. Third and final in this series. Well written and holds your attention throughout.

Excellent SF. Very interesting concept SF on what would happen in case of a world calamity. Love the alternate history how terrorism has forced the United States into a totalitarian state!

Very well written. This trilogy was very well written and not just the same stale storyline. It is rather funny that the mood of the book is able to pick up the mood of the US so closely even though it was written a few years before this last election.

Imaginative and engaging. I thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy. Interesting characters that you love to love...or hate. Creative world building and lots of directions for spin-offs. Can't wait to see what's next.

Wow!. I literally โ€œripped throughโ€ these books! I can wait to move on to the RIFT saga now. Andreas writes like a young Robert Heinline!

Genesis. Great read! I was hooked again from the first chapter. Too bad the author didn't have the time or inclination to explore the relationship between the human explorers and the First. Would have been good to read that angle.

Page turner!. A wonderful conclusion to the Exodus trilogy. A must read!

Loved it!!!!!!. Loved every page. Now looking forward to reading the Genesis companion guide.

Exodus Trilogy. Truly a good read throughout the trilogy. Too often, the original volume greatly overshadows subsequent works. Not so here. Well done!

Genesis - Part 3. Oh why does it have to end??? Finished the Exodus Trilogy and read Alive but I want more!! Loved it! Great reads. Moving on to the Rift series.

Good read. I enjoyed the entire trilogy. It struck a chord with me conceptually and literarily.

Another Great book!. I truly enjoyed all books in the trilogy. Hate to see it end but look forward to seeing more books about Aurora.

Exodus Trilogy: Exodus, Aurora and Genesis. Two of my favorite authors are Isaac Asimov (Foundation series) and Allen Steele (Coyote series) because they created a universe where their many stories were interconnected. I felt like an explorer as I read their stories. Andreas Christiansen has created another universe that I truly enjoyed exploring. I am looking forward to reading about the colonists on Aurora and the survivors on Earth as each new generation encounters new challenges and hurtles to overcome with intelligence and compassion.

Enjoyable story. I liked the trilogy. It was a fun a quick read.

Exodus. Fantastic read! Great twist.

Genesis. Another great book (3rd) and as thrilling as the first you can't miss with this series!

Genesis. This was a great story with suspense and an interesting back story. It was hard to not read it all at once. I look forward to reading other books related to this series.

Exodus Trilogy. I was off work following surgery when I came across this series. I was intrigued having been a great fan of Isaac Asimov's Foundation trilogy. It didn't disappoint. I read all three in as many days. The only point I'd make is that it was a little light on developing the characters though I did get why as there was an urgency to the story telling that keeps you hooked. Well wort a read.

Great. Well worth your time to read. Captivating story line with characters to grow with. The concept that this storyline creates makes you ponder on human history and what if this was how we came to be.
